Exactly, corsaire. I've noticed that within the last couple of years, there have been less and less copies of CFS3 available for sale. The DVD version in particular is almost extinct. A few copies make an appearance every now and then, and are sold just as quickly as they appear. If Microsoft were smart, they'd make a deal with OBD and started selling CFS3 combined with WOFF. Everybody would profit! Maybe when Hell freezes over...

That looks like another case of anti-virus problems. Quite a few such programs seem to be overly eager to mess around with files they think are suspicious. They usually name them as generic trojans or something like that and remove them from the correct folders. Reinstalls won't change anything, because the anti-virus program keeps finding the suspicious file(s) and removes it. You have to adjust the anti-virus settings so that the program ignores the OFF files.

I don't buy it in plastic packs either. There are fishermen here in the market who sell freshly smoked fish. I always get my "fix" from them.

No smoked fish? What a tragedy! Nothing beats smoked fish. I eat it regularly. Salmon and vendace (Coregonus albula) are my favourites.

My OFF autobiography would be like McCudden's Five Years in the Royal Flying Corps - the main character dies before the war is over.

The CD version seems to have better availability. It would be great if WOFF wouldn't even require players to own a copy of CFS3 anymore, though I'm sure the chances of that happening are not very good.

I bought an English language version of that DVD last year. There were only a few available, and they all went very quickly. It's almost impossible to find them.

I always keep an eye on the official forum, but I don't post there very often. I guess I don't want to be active on several different flight sim forums. But when WOFF is released, I bet there'll be lots of activity at SimHQ!

Well, aviation was such a new thing that they had to improvise a lot. Nobody was truly prepared to fight the air war when the Great War began in 1914. It's that pioneering spirit that so fascinates me about WW1 aviation.

Once again - how unfortunate they took so few colour photos in WW1! Do you Albatros gurus know of any original colour photos of German WW1 aircraft? Photos that have been coloured by hand later don't count. The French, being the pioneers of colour photography, took at least some such photos of their aircraft.
