  1. I know how to animate the STICK and the Throttle, is there a way to animate Rudder Pedals.

  3. Is this 'normal' I am finishing up my cockpit for the OV10-D. Everything was great , right up until I linked the CONTROL STICK so that it will 'pitch' and 'roll'. Then all of a sudden all the 'needles' on my gauges went away, I started to link the needles to the gauge plane object and now a fair number of things in the cockpit (frame, hud etc) are out of whack. Do you need to link everything in a hierarchy (like you need to in the external model) or are only certain things required to be linked. BTW, without anything linked everything works fine (except the stick of course)

    Thanks, here is what I did for the stick I used the stick itself for pitch and used appropriate variable in the cockpit.ini file I then used a dummy object for the roll (and roll variable) and then linked the stick above so that the stick will now roll as well. Is this the 'correct' way of doing it. IYHO
  5. I was referring to the virtual cockpit. Right now I have the stick and throttle working. I guess what I really need to know is , what is the name of the variable in the cockpit.ini file for rudder pedals.

    Here is a little movie I created with the bird ingame. Don't worry about the cockpit not being finished, it is a WIP.
  9. It allows you to create an object in 3d Studio Max, and export it in a format that useable in all games that use the StrikeFighters Engine, i.e SF, WOV, WOE , FE

Click on UTILITIES (on same panel as Create, Modify etc, TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER) then click Configure Button Sets in the pop up box, scroll the left hand area down to the bottom till you see the thirdwire exporter on the right, you should see TOTAL BUTTONS, add one for this new button when you have a blank button added, (scroll down the right hand side of that popup). Drag the thirdwire exporter onto the blank button , click OK, Viola, you have have access to the exporter
  11. Release Date?

    The game went GOLD over a month ago, not a single post anywhere from anyone about it. The game was shipping and it wasn't until someone accidently ran across it on a website. Again not a single post from anywhere. Why all the secrecy, it isn't like this game is the second coming. It is SF with a static small airfield with wires (that is called a carrier). Except for the carrier , there is very little in this game that SF doesn't have.
