  1. Found this page - not too many ANG pictures though. http://www.f84thunderjet.com/3170ang.shtml Good luck!
  2. stevechester, thanks for the tip :D SleepySweeper
  3. USAFMTL asked Here's a picture (painting) - unfortunately not very detailed, but at least it gives an impression :) http://wernerhartenstein.tripod.com/Hartmann http://wernerhartenstein.tripod.com/hartmann.htm SleepySweeper
  4. After 10.5 years in Soviet captivity, Hartmann was released to West Germany. He eventually was selected to command the first West German all-jet fighter wing, flying the Sabre F-86 jet fighters. http://users.senet.com.au/~wingman/hartmann.html The Hartmann part of this thread got me qurious so a google search helped me learn more about him. Thank you stevechester! The forums here are great :D SleepySweeper

I totally agree Ranger332 - that record is indeed impressive!! A couple of months ago I read "Chappie", the life and times of Daniel James Jr. and the racism described there makes the record of these units even more impressive! Thanks to officers like Col. Benjamin O. Davis Jr. and "Chappie" your nation and Air Force have come a long Way! BTW, 332 sqn RNoAF had 66.5 kills, 11.5 probables and 49.5 damaged from Jan 42 to VE day. Own losses: 36 SleepySweeper

332 Sqn RNoAF was established 15 January 1942 in England and is currently flying the F-16 MLU. Sqn callsign: Eagle SleepySweeper (A Norwegian in Belgium)
  7. If I remember correctly, speed is indicated using the metric system in Soviet A/C. Cheers SleepySweeper
  8. I came across this website concerning restoring a mothballed CF-104 to flying condition and thought other flightsimmers would find it interesting. (I found the "Articles from flynytt" to be very interesting!) Check it out at: http://starfighter.no/web/indeng.html Maybe the list of all F-104 in Norwegian service could inspire some skinners? :D SleepySweeper
