  4. European Championship Soccer

Based on their performance in the first game, I'd say Sweden is a strong candidate for the championship. IMPRESSIVE!!! However, I hope Denmark wins!
  5. Good advice, Beer! Call me naive - I understand that some people steal, cheat and lie, but why? I find skinning fun, but I wouldn't take pleasure in claiming other people's work as my own!

  10. 1918-2003 85 Years After Ww1

Dutchy, I've been to Ieper/Ypres two times and it was definetely a place for reflection and thougt - visiting cemetaries and seeing headstones inscribed with "Six soldiers of the great war"! I trust you went to the Menin Gate at 8p.m. to see the daily ceremony and hear the Last Post. If you haven't read it already, I would like to recommend the book "They Called It Passchendaele" by Lyn Macdonald! It is based upon first hand accounts of WW1 soldiers and deals with the 3rd battle of Ypres - known as Passchendaele. BTW, the title of this book is taken from a line from Siegfied Sasoon's poem "Memorial Tablet" - I died in hell- (They called it Passchendaele) Sweeps -------------------- Forgot the important details for the book! Penguin Books; ISBN: 0140165096

  13. Thunderbirds, Snowbirds and RedArrows buzzing my Condo

I guess some of your neighbours aren't too happy with the roar of jet engines (the sound of freedom) - but I would have loved being there! The list of aircraft was impressive. Enjoy the airshow!!

  15. Thanks for asking - August was a wee bit hectic as I had to: - move out of the house in Belgium, - have all of my household goods shipped to Norway, - finish my assigned tasks and do a handover to my successor, - redecorate my house in Norway - before receiving my household goods, - unpack my household goods (still not 100% complete), - report for duty 1 Sep (more than 600km from my home) However, August was still good with farewells to colleauges and friends in Belgium and hello :D to old friends and new colleauges in Norway! (Not to mention my promotion 8) )
  16. Citadel Hell

SDirickson, Good job! You've understood the most important part - inspectors will ALWAYS find something unsatisfactory. Do your tasks as instructed and stay proud of your accomplishments! Good luck!

  22. You work at Semmerzake? I did an eval there early last year if I remember correctly. (Good site) I'm at SHAPE CIS and have only been to Chièvres a few times - but not for work.
  23. I currently live close to Mons (or Bergen) - and that should give you an idea of my line of work I'm returning to Norway this August after three very enjoyable years both professionally and personally. As for my avatar, it's my AF speciality badge 8) (Electronic maintenance) BTW, your three languages wouldn't be Flemish, French and English? If it is, I would assume you are flemish !
  24. Maybe this one is what you originally asked for? http://www.ang.af.mil/ I suppose it's the one that seemed dead earlier, but it works now. BTW, even if I'm living in Belgium, my Flemish and French is sort of limited Bonne chance!
