I would love to learn some of these tactics. I can hold my own against ace AI in OFF but even that is no match for a rookie human who would be heavily un predictible.. I think it would be fun for us to meet up on ROF

Hmm I never did buy that RB3d from GOG in the end.. I had 2nd thoughts. I have many fond memories of wasteing my highschool days playing that. At the time the graphics were jaw dropping. I think its best to let it lie as a happy memory. I get my memories ruined too much playing some games on emulators from the SNES, Megadrive and Amiga days I started playing games I remembered to be amazing.. After 5-10 mins the nostalgia wears off then i think why the frak did i play this its crap.. When playing OFF it feels 100% like RB3D anyway and more.. With OFF's deep campaign and selection of aircraft along with ROF's damadge models and eyecandy. Dont think I would ever play RB3D again..

I had both the track IR 4 and clip pro for a year and only just started useing the clip pro :P I find it is smoother and more responsive than the reflector clip for the hat. Either way you are going to look like a compolete burke when playing so dont worry about it.. already had my family laughing at me.. Then they asked questions what it does. after they say me play for a few mions with it they thoughh it was a cool contraption.

Not that I am aware of.. T o me it sounds like somthing got corrupted from all them installs. Uninstall CFS 3 and OFF compleatly and run a program called CCleaner FROM HERE to clean up the registry and re install from scratch.. Hope it helps if not ask again and one of us will be here..

In sims I think we are allowed compramises.. In a real aircraft you can feel what the aircraft is up to. In a ww1 crate you would feel the aircrtaft stalling in the heat of battle all we get is is a smal rumble in a FFB stick (if you are lucky enough to own one) and a smal visual warning if enabled... I don't think think the realism nazis will hunbt you down for making it easier to identify a stall...

Does anyone else get them days when you just cant seem to fight? I keep loseing pilots today and can't seem to fly right at all..

Gah I really am finding it hard today.. After day of strugle, I have concluded.. It is evil mongoose spy, he sabotage my aircraftamob. Tomorrow I fly again good.. Simples :*)

Just had some Jagermeister and jumped in the Se5a and got a kill on QC against an ace opponent.. Need to really practise some manovers

Since you own a legit original you could rip the movie and re burn it onto a dvd-r with certain software so its reigon free.. That much i can say openly i think.. If you need help I can talk you through it.

keep an eye on airspeed.. i don't normally let it below 50

Track IR does this to some degree when having to move your head inderpendant to the sim

After coming home from work I was dogfighting for pretty much 7 hours stright on my trusty SE5a.. I am all inspired and wrote this in like 5-10 mins Suddenly out the clouds I see them, I signal my flight thrusting my arm skywards, This is it.. I ease up on my throttle and climb to meet them, Guns blaze and canvas tear, We just lost our rookie pair, No time to think no time to mourn, I pull round tight and, See that bastard through the sight, Squeeze of trigger and lead shall fly, His kite on fire fall's from the sky, So this is how us heroes die, His wingman comes and takes a pass, Shooting bullets that skim my ass, I dive away and pull round tight, This little git sure wants a fight, He fires again and misses low, Where the hell did my wingman go, There he is out of the sun, Go my boy shoot that hun, Down in flames you son of a bitch, His wreck falls smouldering into a ditch, Both my wingman and I both head for home, It's just us left we are all alone, So that is combat... Pretty crap really but funny how after playing OFF for 7 hours stright I had the urge to do this..

I prefred Historyline 1914-1918 Played this for hours on the Amiga 1200 The intro gives you a massive history lesson to why it all started.. I persoinally thought it was because Artchie Duke got hungry and shot an ostrich :P

Are engine failures moddled into ROF? Lost it a few times over the front.. Also I think landing is just as dangerous as combat i can touch down ok its just when the ac slows down, a lot of the time it swings round and damages my lower wing. I had an idea too Seems a few of us have it.. later in time we could form up an online squderon for it?

Took some screenies for a friend while dogfighting and captured this. I was close enough to exchange phone numbers.. He also looks wounded clenching his chest with blood on his arm.. He dident seem to evade and just flew in a direction for home.. so i let him go.
