Its that time for airshows, The one that I attend is in two weeks. This year its WWII, Korea, wing walkers, aerobatics, and The F-4 Jet on loan from the National Guard. Guess I will have to move to Kansas and " I will take a little doggie too."

Found this document over at the Century of Flight site. It appears to be a Transcript of Manfred von Richthofen 's Book . It was published as The Red Battle Flier ( ?) He certainly was a Brave man. His 8th kill was by attacking 40 to 50 bombers with 1 wing man ( an 18 yr Old ) both returned home! If the OFF 2 code carrier came down in No Man's Land, The P.B.I. could launch a recovery Platoon. Night infiltration among the wire and Bursting Shells might try ones nerve and eliminate those with a lack of Moral Fiber, But a Platoon might be able to find it by 6 Jun ( D - Day)

I remember when I saw this DVD at home . After the 1st 30 mins, I had to Pause and Open all the windows. The film was all too confining. ( It is one of my favorites)

I always wondered How they found their target. For example, Fly East 10 mins then N.E for 6 mins drop bombs then west for by NW for 16 min and they should be over the field ? ( or drop flairs in the target area till they found it ? ( matches)
