  1. Godzilla

I saw it today in 3D. Sorry for the inbound cussing but... HOLY FUCK! Gareth the director did the king of the monsters the right respect he deserves. I'll do an review of the movie if you guys want. I'll try to not put in spoilers in the review. But I'll try my best if you want me to. Falcon
  2. So it begins my last 5 day treatment.

Tomorrow is my last 5 day treatment. WAHOOOOOOOO! But I'm kind of scared, last treatment I did 3 weeks ago I was very sick. So hopefully I know what to expect next 2 weeks. This means I might hafta cancel the movie outing to see Godzilla on opening weekend but that's ok. I'm just glad I made it this far. Ya'know what I mean? I'm so ready to get this last week of chemo to be done. Falcon
  3. So it begins my last 5 day treatment.

About 2 weeks after my last day. I'll do a CT scan. Falcon
  4. E.T. Video Game Landfill apparently found

  5. Update of me and my treatments

Hi guys, I'm well enough to tell you whats going on. I did my third round of 5 day chemo treatments almost 2 weeks ago. I had a very rough time after that though. Alot of vomiting & coughing. But the good news that my doctor gave me 3 weeks to recover instead of the usual 2 weeks. The upcoming chemo week (May 5th) is my FINAL one. YAAAAAY! My mom and I are thinking of something big to celebrate so I'll keep you guys posted on that. On the lighter side of things, my first of Godzilla pre-orders came in today. Its the 30cm X-Plus '64 Godzilla figure. These X-Plus figures are "suit accurate" which means you'll see zippers and peek holes like on the actual suit. I will take pics of it once I borrow my mother's dryer to put the tail in. Oh, I flew on SF2 last weekend. Felt good despite that my gunnery SUX! LOL. Well that's it for now. I'm hanging in there and glad this will be over soon. Falcon
  6. Tomorrow is my third round of chemo. After this I will have my final round! YAY! Just in time for the release of the new Godzilla movie! To celebrate I'm going to see it on its opening weekend. And I have another plans to celebrate but my mother & I need to work out the details first ;). Today I went to a local comic con and had a blast. Spent money of course but I had fun being with other people with same interests. I will post pics soon. :) Falcon
  7. Another round tomorrow and other things

As promised. PICS! Batman protecting a citizen ;) Imperial Stormtrooper! Falcon
  8. My Newest Acquisitions

OK. I'm very green with envy LOL Falcon
  9. Best "Kids" Show ever!

I grew up watching Looney toons. When I was in my early teens, I actively searched for old, old toons like betty boop, woody woodpecker etc. I really enjoyed them. Then I saw a old superman toon from 50's (I think). Wow, the level of attention of detail, the smoothness of the animation was incredible. One toon of today that has the same style of animation quality in my opinion was Batman the animated series. Anyway my fav looney toon was with leghorn & harry the hawk :). Falcon
  10. The Good and Bad news....

Well my lower lymph nodes are 50 percent smaller... YAY! BUT... *sigh* they found a blood clot near my pelvis. They don't know how long it has been there or if the cancer had caused it or not. But my doctor immediately called my mother and told her to go to another center to learn how to give shots in my stomach. This was yesterday, shortly after I vomited and laid down to rest (I vomited right after taking my anti-nausea medicine). May mother told him about that and he told her that he'll ask the center to re-hydrate me and give me some anti-nausea meds thru my port. My mother had a hell of a time getting my anti-clot meds. She had to go to another city (about 4 miles from the suburb I live in) to get them. I started my anti-clot medicine last night. It wasn't bad. A little sting and it fated within about 3 minutes. I need to take them for 3 months at least. And I need to watch myself of not getting scratched and my mother will tell my aides to be extra careful in transferring me with my ceiling lift. Well, the blood clot is another chapter of the saga of Erik LOL Falcon
  11. And With That..........

Dave, my friend, he'll be with you in spirit always. Don't forget that. Erik
  12. Happy Birthday Dave!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE! Sorry for being late. Falcon
  13. Half point of my treatments

But its very draining on me now. The last two days were brutal. I was in bed mostly. But I'm almost done and next Friday I'll do a CT Scan if my lymph nodes in my lower waist are getting smaller. Falcon
  14. Arnie invites you to crush things

It would be cool if he allow the main gun to be fired too :) Falcon
  15. YO!

Well, I got a new port. This time I did few power naps during the op cuz I had to get up at 4:45am (UGH). I'm home now and feeling pretty good :). Just a heads up for you guys. Falcon
  16. Slight update

On Thursday, I'm going in for a maintenance operation on my port. They can't draw out blood. The chemo goes in fine but no drawing out blood. I'll be going to the hospital at 6:00 AM... UGH. Falcon
  17. The Real G.I. Joe

The movie was indeed inspired by the real feats of the pigeon. Many don't know there was 2 types of air wars going on. I think Germany used birds of prey to hunt the messenger pigeons. I know the fact if a german trooper sees a pigeon he had orders to shoot it down. Falcon
  18. Hey guys, Figured I would update you on the process of the chemo. First week went well although on the last day of my first chemo treatment round I was in bed most of the day. I was in bed most of the weekend as well. I was one tired Falcon. I didn't get sick or nothing like that but I coughed up alot of phlegm (it was normal anyway, my allergies was acting up). I'll go to my next 5 day chemo on the 17th. Today I got my pony tail cut off and re-shaped my hair. It looks ok, the hair dresser cut it too short though. After that I visited a hobby shop next door that I used to go back then they had slot cars (GAWD I feel old) and looked around. Brought back memories of trying to build models LOL. Saw a beautiful F-4E on display and I looked at my mother and said in ASL "I wish I could do that" and she patted my shoulder and said "I know son". I remember building a large scaled model of VF-84's F-14D (by Revell.. I think) with my Step-dad (bless him, he was kind of a impatient person) and we had problems of the swing wing mechanism. After few days of troubleshooting, I told him to scrap it (and 29.95 down the drain) and I never bought a kit again. Thank god for diecast models :). I always like large scale models more than the 1/72 or the 1/48 scale (although my uncle and I did a very beautiful B-25 in that 1/48 scale when I was about 10 or 11) because of the level of detail. Anyway sorry for the modeling kit rant. After that my mother & I went to the local mall where I went to Suncoast (FYE by different name). I bought 2 3d movies: Man of Steel and Gravity. I then headed to the Anime section, while I was going to there I saw they had Pacific Rim figures. They had the complete third wave set and I grabbed them all. While my mother was putting them on the empty cashier table, I was looking through the Anime section. I didn't see any series I wanted and when I wheeled toward the table, I saw it... the 18" figure of the mech Gypsy Danger on the table with a sales guy grinning. And yes I heard angels... shaddup :P. I was all giggly and guess what... I bought him as well. I just spent 250 dollars total LOL! Think that is a record for me ;). Shouldn't of bought the 18" though, I could get him for 89 online but I HAD THE FEVER MAN! LOL. Anyway I had to share this experience to you guys. Falcon
  19. Update of chemo treatment and other things

Yeah my friend David (you guys know him as Eagle114th on here) went to Japan this summer (he's going back on the 17th) bought me two kits the Original GUNDAM Mech and Char's red ZAKU II. He built the GUNDAM for me while his Fiancee's daughter built the ZAKU II while in Japan. He got a girlfriend during his first trip and is very happy. Yeah its amazing for a tiny model. Falcon PS Awesome Standard ZAKU model :) by the way.
  20. Transformers 4

Hafta admit, Grimlock looks cool. (T-Rex) Falcon
  21. Your fav "BAD GUYS" Cold War plane as a youth?

Mine is the Fulcrum. I saw the real one when few flew in Dayton Air Show in Glasnot days. She was beautiful and deadly just standing there. I couldn't get to the test pilot as he was flooded by people. I so wanted to "pick his brain" by talking shop :). Falcon
  22. Mother of God....

Unfortunately those guys & Jet Jaguar are properties of ToHo Co. Falcon
  23. Mother of God....

That wasn't him, there are 2 or 3 new monsters for him to fight. Falcon
  24. Mother of God....

<evil grin> I have been following this movie for years. First it was stated for release for '13 but with Godzilla's 60th birthday in '14 they decided on '14 release. Everytime I look the trailers of this movie, I get excited. My favorite trailer is from the San Diego Comic con in '13. They used the scientist's saying about what he experienced when watching a test denotation of a H-Bomb. At the last seconds of that trailer, You see the head of Godzilla and you hear "...Now I am became death; Destroyer of Worlds." then you hear Godzilla roar. That, my friends, is the nature of Godzilla. Falcon
