F-100F Super Sabre (*)
paulopanz posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
File Name: F-100F Super Sabre (*) File Submitter: paulopanz File Submitted: 26 May 2015 File Category: F-100 F-100F Two-seat training version, armament decreased from four to two cannon. First flight: 7 March 1957; 339 built. The F-100F two-seat trainer entered service in 1958. It received many of the same weapons and airframe upgrades as the F-100D, including the new afterburners. By 1970, 74 F-100Fs were lost in major accidents. Export F-100F: France 11, Denmark 10, Turkey 35, Taiwan 14. TF-100FSpecific Danish designation given to 14 F-100Fs exported to Denmark in 1974, in order to distinguish these from the 10 F-100Fs delivered 1959–1961. This mod uses YAP wild weasel model (the shadow bugged fuel prove was removed!) to portray basic two seater in early use and in service with allied airforces alongside the single seaters. So You can use with my previous Hun packs: Armée de l'Air: http://combatace.com/files/file/11566-f-100d-armée-de-lair-complete/ Turkish Air Force: http://combatace.com/files/file/11732-f-100d-tuaf/ Flyvevåbnet: http://combatace.com/files/file/12399-flyvevabnet-f-100d-superpack/ A RoCAF pack is in the pipeline and an US new and updated skins (the F-100D had some relevant upgrades during SF lifetime) is in the works. I liked this mod very much. But as I wasn't able to find the period of usage of this weapons and which airforces (LSK, PWL more?) but not all the PF users, my suggestion is to make a specific plane with historical timeline, specific skins and weapon loads ... Please do it! -

The PZL TS-11 ISKRA (English: Spark) is a Polish jet trainer aircraft, used by the air forces of Poland and India. It is notable as the main trainer plane of the Polish Army, the oldest jet plane still in service in Poland - and one of the most reliable. This is the first, old Veltro's ISKRA. I tweaked all the entries (pylons, lights, weapons loadouts, taxing etc.) and made 3 PWL & 1 IAF basic skins. An optional data.ini for early ISKRA bis A (no weapons) included. Working canopy: key 10 The next ISKRA in the makings will be perfect, this can't be finish up due source files loss. So accept this as it is, I made my best. Wellcome back Ed. @ Paul [PS: the IAF skin is for Sandesh, who helped me a lot with references, and all the people around Indo-Pak mod. Let's finish it gents!] -
File Name: IAI Dagger A File Submitter: paulopanz File Submitted: 28 April 2015 File Category: Israeli Origin The remaining Israeli Nesher aircrafts were refurbished and exported to the Argentine Air Force in two batches, 26 in 1978 and 13 in 1980, under the name Dagger, comprising 35 Dagger A single-seat fighters and 4 Dagger B two-seat trainers. They formed a new unit, 6th Air Group, and were immediately enlisted with the help of the 8th Air Group (Mirage IIIEA) and the Peruvian Air Force, already a user of the Mirage 5, due to the escalating crisis with Chile of that year. During the 1982 Falklands War, they were deployed to the southern naval airbase of Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, and an airfield in Puerto San Julián and despite the distance to their targets and lack of aerial refueling capability, managed to make 153 sorties against both ground and naval targets on the 45 days of operations. In the last role, they damaged HMS Antrim, Brilliant, Broadsword, Ardent, Arrow and Plymouth. Eleven Daggers were lost in combat (nine by AIM-9L Sidewinders fired from Sea Harriers and two by surface to air missiles). In the 1979 contract with IAI, the Argentine Air Force stipulated that the Daggers would be equipped with new avionics and HUD systems to take them to the Kfir C.2 (and beyond in some subsystems) standard. The program, named Finger, was underway in 1982 when the Falklands War broke out. With the war over, as some of these systems were made by the British Marconi Electronic Systems, they needed to be replaced after an arms embargo was imposed by the UK. The replacement of such systems took the planes to the final Finger IIIB standard mainly by replacing the British equipment with French-built Thomson-CSF. WHAT'S IN: - a new plane - 10 new skins (2048x2048), including Cap. Raùl Diaz's very own plane - decals - ini edits from stock Nesher CREDITS: - Ludo for Mirage templates adapted by me - fake pilot antennas from Falklands mod (included) INSTALL: - You need SF-2 Israel to use - put all in main mod folder and overwrite - that's all NOTE: This mod was sitting on my HD from long time (in fact the skins were made in bmp), but it was kindly requested from a friend Enjoy @Paulopanz Click here to download this file

@ Kevin: I noted something strange with the engine and the spinner too. 1. you can turn off the engine (ctrl+I) and continue to fly ... 2. the spinner doesn't turn at some speeds (I discovered it when I put a star decal on it) ... mostly before take off from a CV
