View File Canadair CL-13 Sabre F.Mk.2 The second generation of Canadair Sabre aircraft, and first to be built in quantity, was the Mk 2, with 350 produced from 1952–1953. The RCAF received 290 of these improved aircraft. During the first half of 1952, the remaining 60 Mk.2s were supplied to the U.S. Air Force for use in the Korean War. Most RCAF Mk.2 Sabres were utilized in the air defence role with NATO's No. 1 Air Division in Europe, proving itself to be an outstanding dogfighter. Others were assigned to the training role at bases in Canada. After replacement by the Sabre 5 in RCAF service from 1954, just over 210 surviving Sabre 2s were overhauled and modified in the UK and supplied in roughly equal numbers to the Greek Air Force and Turkish Air Forces. As you know this plane hasn't Canadian Avro Orenda engine like Mk.5 (orenda 10) and Mk.6 (orenda 14), but american J47-GE-13, like Canadair Mk. 4 (next one in the pipeline), so I preferred to use its older FM. But if an FM guru like Baffmeister or Cliff will have a moment to tweak Canadair Mk. 2 / 4 / 5 and maybe 6 too, I'll be very happy. Or maybe you? But I'll take a try and I thank you Kevin for your kindness! P.S. I'm going to upload / reupload ALL the Canadair Sabres reskinned, renumbered and tweaked (a few years long lasting job), but yours german ones that are quite perfect.

View File Antonov An-26 "Curl" After successful operations of the An-24T tactical transport in austere locations, interest in a version with a retractable cargo ramp increased. Initial studies for he retractable ramp were carried out as part of the projected An-40 medium transport. When given the go-ahead for the An-26 in March 1968, the Antonov OKB adapted the ramp design of the An-40 to the An-24 fuselage, resulting in the An-26. Particular attention was given to the military mission, and the majority of early An-26 production was delivered to the VTA (voyenno-transportnaya aviatsiya). Using the majority of the An-24 airframe, with its high-set cantilevered wings, twin turboprops and stalky main undercarriage, the An-26 included military equipment, such as tip-up paratroop canvas seats, an overhead traveling hoist, bulged observation windows and parachute static line attachment cables. The An-26 made its public debut at the 27th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget where the second prototype, CCCP-26184 (c/n00202), was shown in the static aircraft park. The An-26 is also manufactured without a license agreement in China by the Xian Aircraft factory as the Y-14, later changed to be included in the Xian Y7 series. In Italy the P.C.I. (the Italian Communist Party, the largest in so called free word) had a proper school (le Frattocchie) and trained young people to be future leaders. The best of the couses, even it's not official, went in Hungary or other Warsaw Pact countries, to have a sort of a "communist master" (a friend of mine was in Budapest). They had a full indoctrination and worked all time against N.A.T.O. and U.S.A. In fact they were by Soviet side in 1956 during Hungary revolt, in 1968 for the Praga spring and for the Vietnam war. At the cold war climax they lead a strike against U.S. Pershing and Cruise missiles, too, but they didn't the same against the Soviet SS-20 missiles, that were pointed aginst us. Even if the Pershing and Cruise missiles were placed to balance SS-20 missiles. As I remember in my classroom only another student and I didn' t strike ... They enlisted judges (there were dedicated schools for them), journalists, teachers, artist and so on to seize power, but luckly they never succeded. After the Berin wall fall, they changed their skins and survived. They had lost Stalin and Breznev, but learned to love Clinton and mostly Obama (Obbbama they say), called Democrats themselves, but they aren't. They are still there and at last rule the country: no more communist ideas, only power struggle. Maybe I'm getting old, but as I prefer old true communists than those new fake democrats, I liked so much the Gepard film (even the modern soundtrack) to remember. in fact russian television proudly broadcasted parades and exercises all time like that in the 80s.

View File Ilyushin Il-76 "Candid" The Ilyushin Il-76 (NATO reporting name: Candid) is a multi-purpose four-engine turbofan strategic airlifter designed by the Soviet Union's Ilyushin design bureau. It was first planned as a commercial freighter in 1967, as a replacement for the Antonov An-12. It was designed to deliver heavy machinery to remote, poorly served areas. Military versions of the Il-76 have been widely used in Europe, Asia and Africa. View File Ilyushin Il-78 "Midas" The Il-78 tanker was developed and designed in the Ilyushin Aviation Complex in Russia. The main reason behind its development was an expansion of the transferable fuel load of an earlier version of tanker, the Il-76. The Il-78 has a total transferable fuel load of 85,720 kilograms (188,980 lb), which includes 28,000 kilograms (62,000 lb) from a pair of 18,230-litre (4,010 imp gal; 4,820 US gal) tanks in the freight hold. In comparison, the Il-76 has a capacity of only 10,000 kilograms (22,000 lb). The Il-78 transfers fuel solely through deployment of the probe-and-drogue refueling method.
