  2. BAC Strikemaster Mk. 80/81/82/83/88

    The Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T Mk 5. Various improvements and alterations were made to the aircraft, including an uprated Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet engine, wing hardpoints capable of carrying a wide variety of munitions, a pair of machine guns under the intakes, uprated flap system with two jacks, enlarged airbrake jacks, new communication and navigation gear, different electrical system, canopy breakers on the ejection seats, and a revised fuel system including tip tanks on the wing tips.
    First flown in 1967, the aircraft was typically marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft, however, the majority of customers were air forces seeking an advanced trainer. The Strikemaster did see combat on multiple occasions in the service of Ecuador, Oman and Yemen. A total of 146 aircraft were produced prior to the end of production in 1983. The type remaining flying into the 2020s, albeit with increasing difficulty due to a decreasing supply of spare parts over time.
    WHAT'S IN:
    - Strikemaster Mk80    Saudi Arabia     (47 planes)        3 skins
    - Strikemaster Mk81    South Yemen    (  4 planes)        1 skin
    - Strikemaster Mk82    Oman                 (25 planes)        2 skins
    - Strikemaster Mk83    Kuwait                (12 planes)        1 skin
    - Strikemaster Mk88    New Zealand     (16 planes)        2 skins
    CREDITS:
    - russouk2004: original model
    - pappychksix: all skins
    - paulopanz: decals, hangars, screens, drop tanks paint, skins little editings, ini dance, packaging etc etc.
    TO INSTALL:
    - put all in your main mod folder and overwrite

    NOTE:
    TW simulations allow us to add proper historical serials, numbers, letters and nose arts to each plane.
    Best models with serials, numbers and letters painted on textures for me are a real waste. All planes (as black cats at night ...) are the same ...

    So our friend Pete allowed me to make decals (I have a real decals factory yet ...) for his great skins and this is the final product.
    I think that outstanding Russo's plane really needed this work to shine.
    I hope you like this pack, as I liked to buid this up.
    If Pete will skin Mk84, Mk89 and Mk90 (with his own super templates) too I'll be glad to add them.
    If someone'll tweak a better flight model I'll add too.
    Any improve'll be welcome.
    Aren't we a community?
    Enjoy!

  7. Ejército del Aire F-104G - ALA-12

    Ejército del Aire F-104G - ALA-12

    The Spanish Air Force received their F-104s under the Military Assistance Program: 18 Canadair-built F-104Gs
    and three Lockheed-built TF-104Gs were delivered under MAP to Spain's Ejército del Aire in 1965.
    These aircraft were transferred to Greece and Turkey when they were replaced by F-4 Phantoms in 1972.
    It is notable that no aircraft were lost through accidents during 17,000 hours of operational use in Spain
    although it should also be noted that the aircraft was used only in its intended role of an interceptor and
    mainly in very good flying weather.

    Ejército del Aire:

    -Ala 6 based at Torrejon (later redesignated Ala 16); 61 Escuadron (later redesignated 161 and 104 Escuadron)

  8. B-57B Vietnam (Plus) Skinpack

    This is a complete overhaul/update/fixing of great Dave original package,
    an handmade reskin using Lod viewer and no templates.
    The job was started several years ago and finished after downloaded last
    Kevin's effort.
    So you'll find, jpg textures, SM files, fixed camo, lines and right shaped
    stripes and some missing parts added to originals.
    As I always dislike redoing someone's else work pratice without a valid
    reason, this job started only for personal use, but when became a complete
    overhaul, I decided to share.
    As a bonus  a Defence Systems Evaluation skin made by myself using TW silver
    skin as template (EB-57B) and a second AVON 1 skin for 13 BS.
    Decals are taken from Dave's package and some are brand new.
    Remember to delete ALL previous old skins from original pack if installed.
    I hope you like.

    Happy new year.

  9. Northrop F-5E/N "aggressor" double pack (*)

    F-5E - The F-5 was also adopted as an opposing forces (OPFOR) "aggressor"
               for dissimilar training role because of its small size and performance
                similarities to the Soviet MiG-21.
                The F-5E served with the US Air Force from 1975 until 1990, in the 64th
                Aggressor Squadron and 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base
                in Nevada, and with the 527th Aggressor Squadron at RAF Alconbury in
                the UK and the 26th Aggressor Squadron at Clark Air Force Base in the
                Philippines.
    F-5N - Ex-Swiss Air Force F-5Es used by the US Navy as an "aggressor"
                aircraft, with AN/APG-69 replacing the original AN/APQ-159.
                Intended to replace high-time USN/USMC F-5Es in the adversary
                role, and saw service through 2015.
    WHAT'S IN:

  10. Martin P5M-2 Marlin (*)

    Built as a successor to the PBM Mariner, it had better engines,
    an improved hull, and a single vertical fin tail.
    The P5M-1 was followed by 116 P5M-2 planes. These had a T-tail
    to put the tail surfaces out of the spray, an AN/ASQ-8 MAD boom
    at the rear of the tail-tip, no tail guns (the gun position replaced by
    he antenna for the AN/APN-122 Doppler Navigation Set), better
    crew accommodation, and an improved bow to reduce spray during
    takeoff and landing.
    WHAT'S IN:
    - 30 Skins (27 USN; 1 USCG; 2 MN)
    - decals / serial historical numbers by Squadron
    - loadout.tga image
    CREDITS:
    - A-TEAM original model
    - pappychksix original skins
    - paulopanz edited & new skins; decals, loadout.tga. ini edits
    TO INSTALL:
    - (*) you need P5M-R0c.lod from original A-TEAM Beta package or if you use the P5M-R1.lod from modern planes section you have to change P5M.ini like this:
    [LOD001]
    Filename=P5M-R1.LOD
    Distance=100
    [LOD002]
    Filename=P5M-R1.LOD
    Distance=250
    [LOD003]
    Filename=P5M-R1.LOD
    Distance=500
    [LOD004]
    Filename=P5M-R1.LOD
    Distance=2000
    [LOD005]
    Filename=P5M-R1.LOD
    Distance=15000
    - put it inside AIRCRAFT/P5M folder
    - put all the new package in your SF-2 folder
    NOTES:
    I made this pack because I love this plane and hate texture painted
    serial numbers.
    The model I used is a beta  and has some easy to fix mapping bugs (I could show),
    that I tried to mask as better I can, because as many others - I fear -  it'll not be ever fixed.
    The realise lod has the same problems (unfixed bugs) as the beta so you can use both.
    Enjoy

  20. Canadair CL-13 Sabre F.Mk.6

    The Canadair Sabre Mk.6 was the final variant and was considered to be the "best" production Sabre ever built.
    It was equipped with a two-stage Orenda engine developing 7,275 lb (3,302 kg.) of static thrust. Its altitude
    performance and climb rate was enhanced over the Mk 5 and the reinstatement of the wing leading edge slat gave
    it excellent low-speed characteristics.        The first production model was completed on 2 November 1954 and
    ultimately 655 were built with production terminating on 9 October 1958. A total of 390 Mk 6s went to the RCAF
    with the majority replacing the existing Canadair Sabre Mk 5s at the Air Division squadrons in West Germany and
    France. The main air threats to NATO in the 1950s in Central Europe were the early variants of the Soviet MiG
    the MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-19 and MiG-21. Based on the Korean War experience, the selection of the Mk 6 Sabre to
    provide an effective opposition to the MiG threat proved to be a logical one. Canada’s commitment to NATO was
    to provide 12 squadrons located at four bases – two in France (Marville and Grostenquin) and two in West Germany
    (Zweibrücken and Baden Soellingen). Initially, the contribution consisted of only Sabre aircraft; however, later
    it was decided to include the Avro Canada CF-100 aircraft in the defense package to provide a night and all-weather
    fighter capability.
    In addition to the RCAF deliveries, 225 Canadair Mk 6 Sabres were exported to the West German Luftwaffe, six were
    delivered to the Colombian Air Force, and 34 went to the South African Air Force.

  21. Panavia Tornado F.3 RAF for ODS edition upgrade 1.0.0

    Tornado F.3 RAF Super Skinpack
    The Panavia Tornado Air Defence Variant (ADV) was a long-range,
    twin-engine interceptor version of the swing-wing Panavia Tornado.
    The aircraft's first flight was on 27 October 1979, and it entered
    service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1986.
    The Tornado ADV was originally designed to intercept Soviet bombers
    as they were traversing across the North Sea with the aim of
    preventing a successful air-launched nuclear attack against the United
    Kingdom. In this capacity, it was equipped with a powerful radar and
    beyond-visual-range missiles.
    The type has been replaced by the Eurofighter Typhoon.
    WHAT'S IN:

  22. Panavia Tornado F.3 A.M.I. for ODS edition upgrade

    In the early 1990s, the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana, or AMI) identified a requirement for
    a fighter to boost its air defence capabilities pending introduction of the Eurofighter Typhoon, expected around
    2000. These fighters were to operate alongside the service's obsolescent F-104ASA Starfighters.
    The Tornado ADV was selected from, amongst others, the F-16. On 17 November 1993, Italy signed an agreement with
    the RAF to lease 24 Tornado F3s from the RAF for a period of ten years.
    First training of AMI pilots began in March 1995 at RAF Coningsby while technicians gained experience at RAF
    Cottesmore and Coningsby. The first aircraft was accepted on 5 July 1995 and flown to its Italian base the same day.
    Delivery of the first batch was completed by 1996; these aircraft were deployed at Gioia del Colle in Southern Italy.
    The second batch was delivered between February and July 1997, these aircraft were of a slightly higher specification.
    They served with 12° Gruppo 36° Stormo at Gioia del Colle AB from 1995 to 2004 and with 21° Gruppo 53° Stormo at
    Cameri AB from 1997 to 2001. In 1999 it joined 36° Stormo at Gioia del Colle AB and in 2001 was disbanded.
    The AMI returned its Tornados to the RAF, with the final aircraft arriving at RAF Saint Athan on 7 December 2004.

  23. Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.1 /GR.1A /GR.3 pack

    The Hawker Siddeley Harrier is a British military aircraft.
    It was the first of the Harrier Jump Jet series of aircraft
    and was developed in the 1960s as the first operational ground
    attack and reconnaissance aircraft with vertical/short takeoff
    and landing (V/STOL) capabilities and the only truly successful
    V/STOL design of that era. The Harrier was developed directly
    from the Hawker Siddeley Kestrel prototype aircraft, following
    the cancellation of a more advanced supersonic aircraft, the
    Hawker Siddeley P.1154. The British Royal Air Force (RAF)
    ordered the Harrier GR.1 and GR.3 variants in the late 1960s.
