  7. .... while main works on Midway Class are going on, I decided to fill the gap with a CVA-42 Franklin D. Roosvelt repainted ..... I was so happy about the result that I was going to change planes squadrons and writnings before to make a CVA-59 Forrestal, when I noted this: Well I can't delete it why I think is fom the LOD file !!!!!! Is it possible? Could one (or more) of our experts HELP me? Thanks in advance.
  8. I'm sorry but Colmack solved the missile problem I was looking for and luckly I find the missile position ... so my SF-2 working install (with numbers, names etc. ) is quite perfect, take a look: Mahan patch Names
  9. Here the USS Constellation CV-64 .... and Colmack's and my DLG-11 USS Mahan Gun/Missile/Decals working for 10 Farragut Class Ships.
  10. Well I had the Coontz with decals (when in task group) but now we have decals + missiles working! The Oriskany guns are operational (moving) but don't fire (I can't understand why). I'll send to test.
  11. Very interesting, You could take a look on those carriers too ...... My idea is to upload data.inis for L/R and when is possible a L/R suited version. So You can choose ..... No guns on Yap carriers, except on Essex class.
  12. No I can't. Unluckly only 3 guns are operational. they fire but no turret seems animated ..... I'm testing. Maybe WhiteboySamuray, our greatest navy specialist, could help.
  13. Well this is the so called "arab spring" that pulled away some quite bad (GheddafI) or quite good (Moubarak) men, who at last keeped their coutries in order, and took Islamist to the power ... Blame on those stupid western presidents (who know mostly who) caused and approved that dead as a freedom wind. [No interest from those philanthrops for Syria, because no OIL ....] I'm very very sorry.
  14. There isn't still an Essex model in Rising Sun but there is a brand workin' one locked at A-TEAM site ... This is the lady Lex (or her Saratoga sister) involved in taking off operations .... and waiting for landings Not so difficult to mod too, following my way .... @ Paul

Here my new MiG-19 AURI line up As I learned they were later transfer to Indonesian Navy, as I wasn't able to found is someone should have a pic ..... And here something else .... but as this skin is taken from A-TEAM Wings over Timor some permissions should ask before any use. @ Paul

  18. Centurion, I worked mostly on historical decals (take correct Mig-15UTI Auri patch in its suppport forum, please). So send your WIPs and I'll try to merge. About soviet era / order of battle I think I'll found something useful here http://www.scramble.nl/id.htm
  19. No. That's not possible. We can only edit catapults and fake-catapults (i.e. other planes on deck) entries but not those from lod file. So sorry not '80 repaint is possible. BTW our friend Aleks1 have a wonderful '90 Saratoga at his own site, among others, http://flight-deck.ucoz.ru/index/cv_60_saratoga/0-30 that I'm porting in SF-2NA standard too. He surely could edit/upgrade his ships line-up making different ships for each time period ...... @ Paul
  20. Hi my friends, I also dislike new TK facebook-Ipad, mods-locked policy, but I think to continue to play/mod SF-2. As an old sim fan, as I am, I have Lock-on, FC1 & FC2 on my HD, too, and maybe I'll buy FC3, but I don't think to move. I love old jets much more than modern ones and in SF-2 we have over 10 years mods to use and upgrade. So i'll continue to paint my favorite (such many) toys and play with them in SF-2. I hope that many other people will stay, too. @ Paul

  22. What I loved most in YAP install were by far were the Carriers. Well, Gents, it's quite easy to upgrade them for working on last SF-2 navalized standard The main problem is that each ship was realised in 2 version: CVA-34L=Launch (?) (with catapults free and full of planes landing deck) CVA-34R=Recovery (?) (with landing deck free and catapults full of planes) This is, for example, the USS Oriskany L ready to launch 2 couples of A-4Bs For Midway, Forrestal, America & Enterprise classes I mixed and edited L & R versions and this is the product: This could not work with Essex class as they have only 2 catapults and a very narrow bridge, so I could only upgrade both L & R versions. What's your mind about it? Do you think L & R separate versions could be useful in mission makings? And a question to our mighty Admin: may I post - when polished and ready - my edited files (ini, data.ini and maybe some textures) only? Bye. @ paul
