I made a set of better skins with some fixes for the Albatros D3OAW (HIRES) and i will upload it soon.

Here there are the Albatros DV and the Nieuport 17.

Those are Hires skins but you can downgrade them with any tool

But i can play with them and my computer isn't very fast.

The excelent Strutter from Simbad lacks of loadout file and doesn't have any weapon station.

It is supposed to fly strike/bombing missions...

Add a bunch of aces to your campaing data files along with their proper skins (thanks quack74) and you feel like an ace.

I made my custom cambrai campaing for Edward's flanders with many skins for the fokkers and it looks amazing and adds a very immersive gameplay.

In some missions i fought the Red Baron and his brother along with many other aces like Voss (maybe it's not 100 % historical but it's a lot of fun)

If I set ground objects quality to unlimited everything looks fine.

But when i set ground objects quality to medium i encounter some errors in the city.

I like the way the farms look in the medium quality setting.

I think the unlimited quality setting adds too many trees for the farm tiles.

Any way to solve this problem with the city tiles in medium quality ???

Unfortunately the AI is the same kind of AI I have always found in OFFLine games, they can make their planes do amazing climbs and turns with no regard for actual physics.

 

OFF is rapidly sinking in my view, the multiplayer is a horror show, the offline is a pretty boring joke.

 

It's nice for awhile to get the feeling of the hours of bordom followed by 10 minutes of sheer horror, but in the end the game has started to bore me with it's constant "sameness". I make a bomber pilot and he gets a bomb run once in every 25 missions and if he hits the target with his bombs he gets no credit for it, only enemy aircraft seem to count unless he is specifically sent on a ground target mission. The biggest turn off for me is the stupid AI and what it can do, NO amount of denying it will change my mind, when I am in gun range all of sudden his EIII can climb like a jet and go vertical (but when I have the same aircraft I can't make it do that) and then hang in midair while I cannot avoid in my plane and crash into his STOPPED plane in the air, in the words of the famous tuna fish ad "Sorry Charlie".

I know all of this stuff can be "dumbed down" but that doesn't interest me, then I found out yesterday that the game will not play MP on win7 (which I have ordered) so all in all it is a nice coaster for my coffee

Those gunners really lock on to you and let you have it. A little too much I agree. But If you use some tactics you can survive an attack on a two seater. Maybe even two. As Tailspin said, get under them at about six o'clock or dive on them from above. Remember the two seaters were just as fast as the fighters. Some faster. So you really only can get one or two passes before they get away from you. I think the guns of my own aircraft should be a bit more potent. Even with a good bead on a plane it still takes half my ammo.(sometimes). But as I was saying, attacking two-seaters was a dangerous business. Many aces fell to two-seaters. So I think it's not all that inaccurate.

You need a lot of ammo to take down a Dfwc5.

Maybe peter01 should tone down a little bit the armor of the two seaters.

I think the two seaters were built with the same materials than other planes like the fighters.

First, I don't like to be treated (as a honest customer) like a potential criminal, second my main (and gaming) rig is not connected to the 'net (and I don't like to connect it to the world of spam, worms and trojans...)!

I never play MP or online games. Single player campaigns are the best.

I will NEVER buy a game to play single player campaigns online (since i need an internet connection to play single player - WTF!!!!)
