Gentlemen, Beginning May 1st the teamspeak addy will change. If using the IP address to connect, you will need to update the IP to the new one on May 1st. If using the URL addy below this change will be seamless and you will not have to do anything. URL Address is the same: ts7.texasteamspeak.com:8784 Starting on May 1st New IP: 64.120.76.107:8784 remember, only if you use the IP, you will have to change it in order to connect to the BlackHaze server. Duck, I see games all the time. The most I've ever seen at one time are two but they are one's I've been in before..... like yours on Saturday. I was hosting but saw your game when we came out of my game. I've been looking thru files trying to figure out where that IP may have been stored, guess I should have done a search (duh!). In RB we were able to figure out that if we put the IP's in the mp file of the known servers that anytime they were up we could see them even without the meta server........ Dutch

Duck, Your funny! I always pay my bills I got a reply from my TS provider. The notice is from them. They are upgrading their Dallas, Texas system and will have TS3 available in the near future. As part of that upgrade, there will be a new IP. That is what the message is all about. There will be a notice in the forum later this evening or Monday regarding the new TS IP for OFF multi. The current IP will work fine for todays flying but we will want to move everyone over to the new TS IP starting Monday. dutch

To get the regular game running you have to right click the OFF manager start file, pick properties and use the pull down window "compatibility" and set it to windows XP 3 and to run as administrator. Same with the CFS3 exe and CFSMP exe. Dutch

In some of my discussions with other people I got this information. "your friend did nothing wrong. The simple fact is that due to changes in the XML libraries in win 7, MP will not work. His error is the same as what I saw. The game crashes when it tries to create the lobby for MP matches. I am pretty sure it could be an easy fix. To code around bib it would require someone at ODB to have a look OR someone that is really good at XML coding to try and rewrite the portion of the affected XML file." I purchased this game for the MP side of it. I don't want to go back to XP if ODB can help us out. Sooooo, ODB can you help us out? Thanks, Dutch

Hopefully someone can try to join a game hosted by someone with XP so the host can see the error message on their end. That might get us one step closer. Dutch

If anyone is protecting my six in a dogfight and I overrun a target or lose sight of the target and have to break off then by all means take the shot and put that enemy down! It's much more important for me that the enemy plane goes down quickly or is driven down out of the fight than if I get a kill or not. If I missed the shot that means they have a future shot on me and in my opinion are free game.......take the shot and I will swing around and pick up your six. If you feel uncomfortable taking the kill then share it with me. I would rather see you take the kill AND credit than that target or one of his buddies make me a target in the future. Also, if I heavily damage a target and drive them down I won't always follow them down to get the kill. My reason for that is at that point they are basically out of the fight and will more than likely crash anyway. I don't want to lose my altitude or waste the limited ammo I have. At or above my altitude there are usually enemy that want to kill me!! If I've driven an nme down then I look for the next most serious threat always trying to take the highest, most dangerous target first. In the end, it's about everyone returning home alive and not how many actual kills you get (well, maybe how many kills you get and return home to tell the story ) . Dutch
