My new Joystick - amazing accuracy for small budgets
Von Paulus replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I've been using for 3/4 years. It's a good low budget joystick and better (IMO) than my old Sidewinder FS. @rjw This joystick don't have force feedback. So you feel the same loaded force regardless what you're doing with your aircraft. -

Greeks authorities have released on bail these two, clearly, master spies. The two of Prague paid a bail-sum of €10000 (€5000 each). -
The new game from TheLordz, Commander: The Great War was released today. http://www.commander-games.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Zoqn-wnam8s

I finally got a job, even if it's only a part time, after one year and half in unemployment, so I can at least now make a small donation to someone which is in a much worse situation than me.

Well Bullethead, I certainly will not argue against someone who as this sort of conviction as you seem to have about this matter. When someone wants to believe that man never reached the moon, it's very hard to prove him anything. In the end it works like a matter of faith. Of course this works for both sides. Let's wait for the trial, then. -

Then hey have been working for ten years in several fictional games: Operation Flashpoint, Arma, ArmA 2 and now ArmA3. We all know that these are fictional games. And that BIS (Bohemia Interactive) is a spy agency that works for a big criminal association. Soon Bond will have to act. -

I know that the because they are working on ArmA3 can cause suspicions, of what they were doing there. Anyway this is the official explanation given by BIS: -

Well, I know Ivan is working for BIS for quite a long time. He's one of the main BIS dev. Creative director if I'm not mistake. I belong to BIS community for 10 years, so for me, it would be like accusing Polowsky of being a spy because he took some photographs of a few aerodromes. Of course I cannot prove he isn't a spy, but I find it highly improbable. -

I wouldn't mind to debate this with you in private Olham. But I do believe if South Europe goes down all the Europe will go down as well, including Germany. And if Europe goes down... I'm sure more regions will go down as well. But this is OT. :) -

Olham, if I didn't know that you are the kindest person in this forum, I could have interpret it very wrongly. That's unfortunately another problem, a serious one, and in a different scale from the one I presented in this thread. Because I'm Portuguese I'm too much sensitive to the Greek economical and financial problems, and I don't see why it should be mention in this thread. The only thing in common with this situation is the place where this unfortunate incidents are happening. May I also remind that most of us here, are all Greek in a certain way. -

I can understand that. But the guys weren't doing any thing different than the normal tourist do. And those islands are open for tourism. I only hope that the Greek authorities assess this case as quickly as possible. -
JA is also a classical. Silent Storm, unfortunately, I've never played, but it's quite good from what I've heard.
-
I had it download a couple years ago, but I've never ended up testing it. They are still implementing things. But probably it will be enough for you to get some of the feeling. :)

Yes we are expecting new versions. But a good game is always a good game. And XCom is better than 99.9% of today games. It has one of the best turn base combat ever done in any game. Great ambiance. I'll excuse you because you've never played it. :) It's like chess. You don't turn it down because it's old and the graphics are basically the same for more than a thousand years.

Olham, basically, only two are really a classic masterpiece, IMO. UFO: Enemy Unknown (alias XCOM:UFO Defense) and Terror from the Deep. Xenonauts and the new XCOM:Enemy Unknown from Fireaxis are the two new games inspired on those. Both will be release this year. Also there's a less unknown XCOM type of game that will be also release this year: UFO2: Extraterrestrials
-
Yes. It's an indie production, but probably will end up being the true spiritual successor to XCom: Enemy Unknown. The Kickstart campaign run well and they were funded with extra cash.

Yes sometimes, it has the whole importance of pure act of humanity. All I'm saying say is that sometimes it's nothing more than a pure self-preservation act, even having to end up put in danger directly their own life to accomplish that. You see, I don't see things so black and white. I'm not trying to judge this case specifically. For all I know, Boelcke was a "gentleman". However I doubt that if Boelcke had survived, he would end the war being the same "gentleman" as he was in the beginning. Please, feel free to disagree.

In the beginning of the air war, it was relatively common. But soon it become rare with the escalating attrition.
-
Hauksbee, I'm not sure why you have quote that. But what is so strange about it? I mean bring back some civility, some order to the ruthless reality of war. It works pretty much like a self-defence mechanism, a way to balance yourself. Of course all these codes of conduct can break a part, depending on the type of war and of the personal basis.

These gestures, sometimes, are nothing more than a way to bring some sanity back to their own life.

I wish I had a better French. But with some effort I can read... slowly. Thanks, dej.

OT - Batten Hatches, Rig for Heavy Weather
Von Paulus replied to Bullethead's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Does he (or she) bring you sometimes the outcome of their hunts? I think that this is a more usual behaviour in the female hunters, like wanting to show us that they are useful. -

Nice villa, tranquillo. I bet it's hard to say goodbye to the sunny weather and return back to the bloody weather. In that regard, we southerners, are lucky.
