  1. Yes in spite of being streamlined (specially ME), both are very enjoyable to play. Interesting stories, hard not to feel involved. That's also one of my favourites scenes, Javito. And the OST? Brilliant. One of the bests if not the best. I played both MEs, one after the other, and it was quite a gaming experience. I would like that the game (specially the second) had more RPG elements and was less streamlined, more like... Deus Ex . If that was the case it would be... perfect. Still, one of the best games I have ever played. I can't wait for the third and final chapter. EDIT: My backlog is bigger, I can assure you. Those three titles that you mention also belongs to it. I must play Planescape, BG and Arcanum. In certain circles, I'm considered a weirdo for not having played it.
  2. The skull is a slider. Just push down the skull. Well Diablo is quite linear. I think you would love Dragon Age and Mass Effect. You should try both. Probably you'l like The Witcher's story. And yes Stalker has some nice features.
  3. :yikes:You seem to have a special skill to get yourself locked. When you reset your IP address, that lock (this I'm pretty sure will be off). But go to youtube and query for Diablo III videos. If you want to know more information about Diablo III, just go here: http://www.rpgwatch....ws?ref=0&id=329 I bet it won't be released this year. EDIT: If you like hack 'n' slash Diablo type games, there are a lot. Just ask.
  4. This year will be special for me for the good and the bad reasons. My main distraction now, is PC gaming. It may sound strange to some of you, but it's my way to stay afloat without getting depressed. EDIT: Here's an "exciting" list for 2011: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/01/03/the-exciting-list-of-2011s-excitements/

  11. Maybe it was only your IP address that was banned. If it was only that , you can switch off and then turn on your router to renew your IP address. Otherwise register with a different email and everything will be all right. No drama.
  12. Happy New Year...

I was thinking in spending this evening with my pal Jack Daniels, but I decided not. It wouldn't be a good idea. Happy New Year to everyone.
  13. OT - Commander

Unfortunately it seems to be relative unknown, yet. I only discovered this when I was looking for a new version of PGForever, and read that the guy who created PGForever was helping developing a commercial wargame inspired in PG. But I hope that it begins to spread there are a lot of PG fans out there. Besides they want to make a series like PG, covering this way, also the Pacific. That would be great.
  14. Tough old Xmas

One more IT facing the prospect of unemployment?! Sh*t! It seems that our profession is on the verge of mass unemployment. I was predicting this to happen when clouding would be at full strength.
  15. Tough old Xmas

That's true. In my case, and due to my own personal reasons, I'm ready for action. I'm very angry. I'm already missing the smell of cordite. That was my girlfriend at the time.
  16. Tough old Xmas

Sorry but I think then that both of you are making a mistake. We live in a democratic (and parliamentary in most of the cases) systems and nothing says that we should be rule by anything than else than by those who we elect. Democracy is the rule of the people by the people itself. If you're telling that this is an utopia, than lets talk seriously and we'll have to change the system and create a new one. But until then, we have to point them and ask for the responsibility of their acts. We cannot dismise and diminish that responsibility. It's that absence of guilty that's mining our political class. We don't have leaders anymore. All we have is this... mediocrety, that is corrupted by their own self interests. The current state of things have true faces and can be named.
  17. Tough old Xmas

They have a lot of names. I called them neoliberals boys. They are everywhere. Them and the new pseudo liberals are poisining the western civilization.
  18. Tough old Xmas

That speech it's not England's exclusive. I've heard 1000 times in the last years here in Portugal. This a European and above all a globalization problem. We have very bad politicians and are being governed by them. We don't have any truly statesman figures in Europe anymore (Merkel it's not a Kohl or even a Brandt). We're weak and I'm afraid we were sold to the Chinese, Indian and to high financial barons.
  19. Merry Christmas to you all.
  20. Starpoint Gemini

The DRM (securom) was creating problems. So they decided to remove DRM. Wise decision. Anyway, the game was already pirated.

  22. Tough old Xmas

Themighty, you're problem is not trivial compare to mine. Only I'll have an extra front with which I wasn't counting for. The case has some greedy aspects. I'm paying for my mistakes and for my good will. Fully agree with you. There will be a time when there will be no money to pay for their greed. And I'm pretty sure it won't last long. And by the way there's a good documentary that portrays well, a part of the financial mayhem in which we are leaving. Thanks to everyone for your support and kind words.
  23. Tough old Xmas

I feel your pain themightysrc. I too in the end of this month will have to shut down my little business and will be unemployed. Because I'm self employed I don't have the right to any kind of social protection. I'm 46 years old , and in my country that's an old age for getting a job, they prefer to employ younger people. So I don't know what will be my future. And like if that was not enough my dear wife, thought that this was the right time (last week) to ask me for the divorce, after 17 years of marriage. The best of timings. I sure appreciate her kindness. With this I'll have to have sell the house to give her half and then will have to have money for renting. Besides the emotional problems this can get me in trouble, financially speaking, if I don't find a job in the next three months. Yes I'm angry, frustrated... It will be a nice Christmas for me too. The best of luck for you mate. Edit: Yes, we should hang the Chicago boys.

I think they are from Croatia. James Allen from OutofEight, already commented the game in tweeter. It seems that the game has some interesting features. I'll wait for some players reviews.
