  1. Well that may be, but on this site it is clearly your moniker now!
  2. Adger; Be carefull with that "MwHHAHAHAHAHAHA"! You are stealing Olham's moniker!! You are liable to find yourself in his sights soon!!
  3. Hi Dej; I concur with Olham on the shade of green. Must say I really like your work and particularly the ground scheme!! Cudos Sir!
  4. Hi Lou; I must say that tunic is in fantastic condition for it's age! You are extremely lucky to find one like this. In most cases you would need deep pockets to acquire one. Cudos to you on your find.
  5. I stumbled upon this article in Wiki which I found rather interesting so I thought I would post it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Evans_Hartney Best Regards
  6. Well Igor; Could you please let us know exactly what happens! When you say you "Simply cannot get this game to run under Windows 7", what symptoms do you get? There are many talented people on this site who will try to help if you can just elaborate. Best Regards;
  7. My new Joystick!

    Ditto to that! I think we now need more than a teaser Mike! Besides, I can almost see Lou drooling!
  8. I have arrived late on this thread folks, but found it very fascinating and informative. Thanks WM it's the first time I saw that article and quite an amazing story! Thanks Dej for starting this and contributing the Monopoly history lesson. Best Regards Folks
  9. Has anyone had any strikes on aircraft with the rockets? Just wondering if anyone has experienced a hit, or if it is even possible in OFF.
  10. Thanks Lou; Some very good points here and quite Elucidating.
  11. Wayarer; I know this may seem like a silly question, but have you made any Hardware/software changes recently? If so, consider that it may have had an impacet. If not, I can't offer any suggestions at this time. Sorry.
  12. Hauksbee. I like your answer as it has some merit. Never thought of that! Creaghorn, also a very interesting point to consider However folks, I have a feeling Lou has an ace up his sleeve that he is not revealing just yet. Hmmmmmm!
  13. Ok Lou, this may be way off, but I'm thinking one concern would be bomber escorts so that would certainly stress caution on attack. Is it possible one other factor would be rendesvous with other squadrons before attacking?
  14. And don't forget the clotted cream and fresh strawberry conserve Lou!! In keeping with your challenge, I can't immediately add anything. I would need to research this more, but you have certainly perked my interest. Maybe availabe aircraft for intercept was an issue at times?
  15. Hey Lou; And so as the song goes "21 today, 21 today,..." Happy B-day mate!
  16. JFM; The rockets in OFF definitely have an explosive component to the. When they hit the wings of the DFW they blew them off with visible flames and smoke on impact.
  17. Olham; that's not far from the truth! You should give it a try. It's an interesting experience and unlike those who actually lived the life in WWI, you get to live again!
  18. remembrance

    From the album WWI Canadian Aces

  19. HI Burning Beard; Most of my shots from behind seem to pass through the rigging leaving the target undamaged, that is why I tried an attach from high up and then diving on the target plane, as you have more wing surface to hit.
  20. Olham; I have fired some rockets at scout aircraft out of desperation but never really attempted a serious attack. I just might try it on some bombers though. It might be more effective on attacks from way below or high above where the aircraft profile offers more opportunity for a hit. Best Regards; UPDATE: Just tried an attack from above with rockets on a DFW and was successful but it was a very close range. Almost too close!!
  21. I hope you are correct, but I have my doubts! I will clean my goggles,change my underwear, and do a circle check on my craft just in case!!!
  22. I'm far from a knowledgeable person in this matter but I suspect if one wants to get the DM as accurate as possible, one could take an accurate scale model and run tests in a wind tunnel (probably at considerable cost), and get as close as possible to flying the real thing. In this day and age with the technology we have at hand and currently used in aircraft design I don't think it is unreasonable to assume these kinds of tests could produce fairly accurate results. It would be nice to find out. Problem is "do sim developers have the money to run such tests?". I suspect not. Best Regards;
  23. Lots of Crumpet Warbirds

    Hi Olham I see u finished those two books! They do leave quite an impression. I felt the "Empty hollow feeling" myself after reading them. It kind of takes the fight out of you so to speak! Love the photo Widow!!
  24. Good show mate!! But being historical as OFF is, you will get a chance to face them again if you are lucky!!
  25. Sound Mod Update 3.3
