  1. Sound Mod Update 3.3

    I too am using Lothar's OFFbase / OFFWorld mod, Unfortunately I haven't seen Lothar on the boards for some time and I have PM'd him some time ago but again haven't heard from him. I hope things are alright with him. In the mean time you are probably wise to look at custom installing Andys's sound mod. Best Regards;
  2. I understand Erik. I just wanted to have some fun with Lou.
  3. I have been running OFF with HitR for some time now and I always have specific mods in place. I started using HPW's FM and EW Campaign Mods some time ago when he addressed the problem of some AI crashing into the woods on take-off. I have not had this problem for well over a year and I had upgraded to his latest version when he made it available. Lately I started a campaign with a pilot in ESC Laf flying a Nieup 11. I discovered that some of my squad mates were not with me when I was flying to the target area but didn't know why. I then started observing them more frequently during take-off and noticed some of them crashing into the trees at the end of the runway. I took a vid of this and a screenie of JSGME mods in place. Has anyone else noticed this. It has only happened since I started this new French Campaign. Could it be they are consuming too much cognac before flight!! Seriously, I'm surprised to be experiencing this with HPW's mod in place. Vid of Niep 11's crashing on take-off: (Right click on link and save vid! Can't seem to get it to upload for inline viewing) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/57920149/Nieup%2011%20Esc%20Laf%20crash%20on%20takeoff.flv JSGME Mods LOaded: Best Regards;
  4. I suspect it might be related to Nieup 11 planes!
  5. I too just experienced this while responding to a thread and it looks like this!! But shouldn't there be an Albatross in the crosshairs!!!!
  6. Devere; Thanks for taking the time to test. I suspect it may be as you said in that maybe only Nieup 11's are affected.
  7. In light of the recent post by Pol that WOFF is entering Beta testing, Maybe it's time to re=awaken this thread Who's keeping the Master Chart!
  8. Pol; Do you have any idea how elated we all are now!!
  9. I can't believe it!

    Von Baur; Maybe he is still up there having fun!!!
  10. von Bauer looks like an F2b to me! Look at the remains of the cowling and if you reference the picture included the exhaust header looks the same to me, but I will let others voice their opinion on this. Best Regards;
  11. I like the clouds! They give me a place to hide and lurk!!
  12. OT....Baking

    Almccoyjr; Don't forget to watch your six!!!
  13. OOPS!! Sorry. I assumed a highlighted clickable line would be there and should have been more diligent in checking. That said, I couldn't find the pics you posted so I must be doing something wrong.
  14. Hi Olham; Since you didn't indicate the link where you found the pictures, I went searching but didn't find them. While trying to research your request to find out who wrote the malaula blog you got your pictures from, I came across another link which is very useful to anyone reading the ENGLISH version of "Malaula - Battle Cry of Jasta 17". This blog was written by Adam Wait who indicates that the editor made many revisions to the publication to the detriment of Bucklers work and so Adam has published correction here at this blog. I recommend it as supplementary reading for the sake of accuracy. Adam Wait Blog Spot 2007: http://malaula.blogspot.ca/2007/08/battle-cry-of-my-blog.html Here is another link to his blog which contains pictures from the book and many which did not make it into publication Adam Wait Blog Spot 2012: http://malaula.blogspot.ca/search?updated-min=2012-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2013-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=1
  15. It's a hard read, if you know what I mean!
  16. The book Immelman: Der Adler von Lille was re-issued in 1990 and I believe in English http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Immelman,+%22the+eagle+of+Lille.%22+(reprint,+1990).-a0211161110
  17. Thanks for the vid Widow; You have to really appreciate Kermit for giving such great instruction and vids for these vintage aircraft. Without them we would not likely ever see "how it is done". Great post! Best Regards;
  18. Hi Folks; I just discovered that the BookDepository has "Ace of the Black Cross - The memoirs of Ernst Udet" back in stock. I thought I would post the link in case anyone is interested. http://www.bookdepository.com/Ace-Black-Cross-Ernst-Udet/9781848327085?utm_source=SV-Body&utm_medium=email-Service&utm_term=Ace-of-the-Black-Cross_image&utm_content=main-book&utm_campaign=EMWBIS-In-Stock Best Regards;
  19. Olham & Mudwasp; Thanks for your last posts with photos. I never knew about the Fonk/Udet meeting. I would love to have been there with them to listen to their reminiscence and conversation in general. I bet it would have been very interesting. I agree with your observations on the colorized photo of Udet with respect to how he projects an heir of impressiveness! Best Regards;
  20. Thanks Reik; I fixed my submissions. Best Regards;
