Another skin for the Skunkworks T-28B which can be found in their Third Party section. In the early 1960s, a single T-28B was exported to Japan where it was assigned to the 501st Hikotai Teisatsu Kokutai .....or Photo Recon Squadron. This was the primary recon squadron of the Japanese Air Self Defense Force (JASDF). Based at Hyakuri Airbase, just north of Tokyo......their main equipment consisted of RF-86F Photo-Sabers. This T-28B surely was some type of squadron utility or proficientcy aircraft.(?) Just drop the file into your T-28B folder and ENJOY!! -

File Name: Cuban Revolutionary Air Force T-28A 1961 File Submitter: ChampionsVA56 File Submitted: 15 Feb 2010 File Category: Multi Engined Bomber, Transport, Light Attack and Trainer Skins Another skin for the skunkwoks T-28A Trojan which can be found in their Third Party section. In 1958, the United States allowed the sale and export of 10 T-28A Trojan trainers to the Batista government in Cuba. They were to be used as primary and advanced training aircraft for the FAEC (Fuerza Aerea del Ejercito de Cuba)....the Cuban Air Force. With the overthrow of the Batista government in 1959, the U.S. placed an immediate embargo on the sale, but four planes had already been delivered. These four fell into the hands of Castro and were placed into service with the FAR(Fuerza Aerea Revolutionaria)....the Cuban Revolutionary Air Force. They were apparently in service during the Bay of Pigs Invasion of 1961.....however what(if any) role they played is unknown. Click here to download this file -

AU-1 Corsair for AES-12- MCAS Quantico 1957

File Name: AU-1 Corsair for AES-12- MCAS Quantico 1957 File Submitter: ChampionsVA56 File Submitted: 05 Feb 2010 File Category: Multi Engined Bomber, Transport, Light Attack and Trainer Skins By the mid-1950's, the entire Corsair fleet was considered "obsolete" and both the Navy and Marines began to phase them out of active squadrons and into scattered Reserve units throughout the country. This AU-1 depicts the LAST ACTIVE MARINE UNIT to operate the AU-1. This was AES-12 (Aircraft Engineering Squadron Twelve) based at MCAS Quantico,Virginia in 1957. It is unusual because it was one of the few examples where the Corsair was around just long enough to receive the new "grey over white" paint scheme the navy mandated in 1956. Please see enclosed read me for history and installation instructions. For the Mirage Factory AU-1 as posted by Crusader. Tested on post 08 patch WOV. Click here to download this file -

A little peek at the T-28D Nomad to be released shortly. Here is the 1st Air Commando Squadron also known as the "Soc Trang Angels". This was one of those CIA-USAF "Advisor" operations which took place before the official start of the Vietnam War in 1964. Yes....there is an "unwilling" VNAF observer in the back seat!!
