YES. If my memory serves, (and at my age I get lousy service!!!!LOL).......when you are calibrating your JS, does it recognize the POV Hat Switch? Otherwise, the POV Hat Switch may not work. I am using an old MS Sidewinder Precision Pro style JS. Also, check out the OFF Game Commands sheet. It shows all the buttons, keyboard functions available in the game. Forget where it is, but its here on site somewhere. This may help, because I do not see very many key commands using those buttons you are having trouble with. Usually combined with another key to complete a command. Hope that helps......................Happy New Year

Have you tried Testing it in your Device manager file? Should be on your Control Panel ...Hardware and Sound area. I would guess if it works there you should be good to go. Otherwise, I am not sure. BTW......I use TrakIR. My POV Hat still works too.

Besides, I have yet to make any "real" scores yet, I fly into the ground a lot, and I have a great time with the guys! They are patient and very helpful. I am currently reading, "The Few" by Alex Kershaw. The story of Americans in Battle of Britain during WW2. I realise its not WW1 era, but a good read. Next will be "Bloody April". WW1 action. Good question about us "guys and games". I have wondered what WE guys have that the females do not experience, or understand. (they have child birth..........we donot!) That seems to fulfill their instincts as a woman. So I wonder what is it for us? Maybe it IS warfare. Ultimate sacrifice, eternal brotherhood, lasting allegiance to a nation or cause. The need to belong to a group, clan,organization that has a common purpose. So we all like to play at this. The immersion factor is necessary for full enjoyment. Its probably why I enjoy games.

I think it would be great fun to have 2 teams of pilots, and one side escorts bombers and the other defends against them. Sort of a mini-Battle of Britain style. Maybe some English Channel Kampf action. British fighters defend against HUN fighters trying to stop Allied shipping from reaching the French coast. Inspiration for missions..........will do a little research on that myself. Am going to read "Bloody April" next. Will keep my thinking cap on. Or is it my "drinking cap"......

As we were flying, Firecage and myself along with SittingDuck, we decide to create a Mission On The Spot. Defend against Gotha Bombers over London. We flew SE5a. They flew Gothas, DVII, and DR1. The fiendish Huns target....?............a Lingerie Factory along the Thames. We had to defend King, Country, and (ahem) Corsets! We were victorious to the last. We beat back the fiendish HUN. They strove valiently to deprive the maidens of the Kingdom of their undergarments. Our fliers were victorious,and their reward was granted to all, by those dear maidens of whom we defended. God Save The King.........................and His bountiful bevy of beautiful maids.
