  4. Catalyst 3.10 Drivers Released

    I am seeing and increase of about 100 pts in 3dmarks and also in battlefield 1942/desert combat when i am in a game and hit escape to go to the main menu I am no longer crashing as I was with cat 3.9`s. I have also found the omega drivers work very well! http://www.omegacorner.com

    Yup you def. need a ram upgrade, for $70 you can get a 256mb stick of Kingston HyperX pc3500 from newegg.com. I have mine up to 217 fsb which is the rated speed for the ram 434mhz (217x2). Mem timings 11.2.2.2.

    Windows Flash Utility says it all! I will never flash a bios thru windows. Asking for serious probs! Be wise and use AWDFLASH.EXE.

    Hey BEER... ordered me a ABit NF7-S from newegg and got a REV 2.0. Picked up a stick of pc3500 kingston hyperX to go along with it. Will post some screenies when I get in from the ship. By the way how in the heck did you smoke 2 cpus?

    My motherboard only supports APG 4x at the highest. Had to install DirectX 9.... Here is my first default run with 2003.

    Finally got my Radeon 9700 pro. here are the system specs. Abit KX7-333 AMD XP 2100 @ 15 * 133 = 1995 mhz 512mb Samsung pc2700 ddr 333 ATI Radeon 9700 Pro = stock clock speed New Cat. drivers AGP = 4x Here is my first run...... Now here I did a little clockn on the XP 2100 and left the Radeon at stock clock speeds.
