Until now, I didn't realize that computer peripherals could hold that much spilled beer. PLEASE make this available! -

Hi Jinji-chan, Just about everything is moddable here, but it seems that speech packs are so much effort (hundreds of individual files) that there are unfortunately very few around. I know there is a Russian and a Vietnamese pack available though. deep. -

Pfunk, what a wonderful, informative and funny article. You are the Rod Machado of modders! I think the black art of modding will gain many new apprentices from this series. -
Excellent! Personally, I like a little weathering. If you could include both it would be wonderful. Thanks for your hard work!

No sim can have it all - that is forbidden. If you want to navigate for fun (I also do) - then fly FSX. I think TK's sims are more naturally suited to shorter distances. But as many here have pointed out, there is such a wealth of flexibility in this design that the talents of the modding community can keep a lot of people happy.

The propaganda is mostly for internal consumption. If you control the media, at least 95% of people will believe what you tell them. Even if you don't, it will follow the 80/20 rule.

Note that the BBC put 'launches satellite' in quotation marks.

Yes, you're right. The best source of information is Frugals http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=73 There is a huge amount of information there, as well as a lot of extremely knowledgeable people, but the tone of the site can be very acrimonious, so if you join, put on your asbestos suit!

This looks like it was a rocket test, not an actual satellite launch. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/08/17/...Rocket-Test.php

Shift+/ (the question mark).

It's possible that Putin's sabre rattling may backfire, as Poland has now signed a defence agreement with the US. Perhaps others may follow now.

It seems to me that the people of Ossetia really just want to be Ossetians, and siding with one power or the other is a matter of survival rather than patriotism.

Any interest in an alternative Dr1 FM?
