Guys, a real Cobra (or Pugatchev) manoever changes a very very little your altitude @ 2:33 (look at the smoke) @UnknownPilot, - AFAIK the Mig-29 A version (first version) cannot execute a Pugtchev (lack of pitch authority) - I'm not surprised if my TMF F-16 FM update cannot be handled by AI in SFP2 (Fev2010). As MigBuster said, a lot has been changed over the years by TK so they have to be upgraded (don't really have time to do it ).

  3. Err... Hey Spectre, are you talking about Campaign or Mission file ? AFAIK the "save" button at debrief "saves" only the mission you've flown. And the saved mission is editable of course... How ? Quite easy. 1- Launch the game 2- Select a type of mission (lets say STRIKE) and choose your plane 3- Start the mission and abort it ASAP. 4- Save the mission on debrief screen 5- ALT + TAB and open my editor 6- Modify the flight path if needed (be aware not to modify it too much because of time synchro with other flights) 7- Analyze the objective area (AAA, SAMsites, etc). its useful to choose weapons. 8- Save the mission and close the editor 9- Go back into the game, select the saved mission and rock & roll
  4. Agree with you that FS is far better for slow bird due to its realistic eyecandy terrain but TW is a "Combat" flight sim . Unfortunately TW game engine doesn't support yet FAC or RESCUE type of mission so you cannot fully enjoy the O-1E. But if you are a rotorhead, I assure you that flying the AH-1G Cobra escorting 8 Hueys (slicks and gunship) with 2 Cayuse for CAS mission (cause AIR_ASSAULT is not supported) and some Skyraiders or Phantoms flying around with their napalm is a "PURE" experience that you can't find in any game around. Trust me

  6. If so, just delete the "KMD.ini" (or "your_exename.ini") file in your Windows directory and try again. Yes... KMD will check "CAT" file from the main game folder and all "Terrain" folders inside "mods path\terrain". So it won't miss any map you have.
  7. Woooaaaa.... Too much work you did there and I'm not sure KMD will fully work.... What happens if you have to delete your "Mod" directory after patching or something else . KMD setup is quite simple. First get the lastest version here (just incase). Then put KMD.exe into your game "main" folder (anywhere else). At the first start, it will ask you where is the "game mod" folder and that's it. No need to extract any file. It will do it for you . And no problem if have to delete the mod folder...

  11. Unfortunately there is no way to make AI firing SECONDARY_GUN (nor making them using thrust vector for instance) until TK will implement it. That's why I've asked to TK years ago the possibility to have separate DATA ini file for AI and player.
  12. +1 Absolutely... One often forgets that TK implements his game "alone" (there are only few guys working with him for the 3D and graphics).

  18. Well... Did you remember if you were in "Metric" unit or not ? This is because if you were in "Metric" and you set your flight altitude to "6000", it will fly at 20.000 ft in game. Other that I don't see By any chance, do you have a backup of your mission ? If yes, could you post it here. KMD is known as not very friendly but never heard something about altitude setting issue until now.
  19. For which a/c did you get this issue ? Normally it happens when the .ini files of your a/c are in UNICODE format. Have no problem with all stocked a/c... (as you can see)
  20. This is nothing to do with mission building ( with KMD or Lemissioneur). In fact, you cannot use SA-2 in a custom mission because it's the launcher only. SA-2 needs a radar linked system to work and unfortunately you cannot do that in a custom mission. In despite you no longer use KMD, could you detail exactly what you had ? What do you mean by "altitudes and speed are randomly changed" ? Nothing to do with the editor again... The "instant action" always plays the same mission with some randomized enemies a/c
