  3. Hi all, time to upgrade. My Saitek Evo joystick has finally ended its usefull life (almost 10 years - the darn thing refuses to roll left)! Any suggestions what's out there? Nothing fancy, anything under $100 will do!

  5. Seems to me that this problem may have multiple causes, mostly antivirus related. In my case it was the joystick profile software. I solved it by removing the software and doing the programing in-game.

  7. Hi all, Suddenly my joystick refuses to roll left. Could it be software/drivers related or do I need a new one? I'm running Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and the stick is a 10+ y/o Saitek Evo.

  9. Well, I think I know what's been causing the game to crash (at least in my case). I noticed that it only crashes when I load my joystick profile before launching the game. Probably the profile software got corrupted somehow. I programed the controller "in-game" without using the profile software and now it's working again. BTW, I have an old Saitek Evo. Sorry TK!!! :-D

  11. I'm having the same problem and I never installed Avast, just McAfee that came already installed. And I'm running Windows 8.1. Any solutions for this??

  16. I'm thinking about getting a new computer and almost everything they sell around here (Puerto Rico) comes with Windows 8 preinstalled. I want to know how does the game behaves on a W8 computer. Or how does W8 handles the game.

  19. Ok, I got a new computer running W8.1. Moved everything to the new computer, after creating new mod folders (following stadard procedures). BUT, after initializing the game there are no planes on the dropdown menu!! Any ideas??? Oh, and the terrains don't show either!
