  1. Nicely done. I have always used the british method of coming from the side then turning into the ship at the last moment, keeping the carrier in sight the whole time.
  2. Just so you know what's cooking.
  3. Mustang Mk. IV of the No. 442 Sqn. RAF (RCAF).
  4. The Flying Undertaker strikes again!
  5. This is the Spitfire PR Mk. XI by ndicki. As you can see no guns and no tail wheel.
  6. There is a recce version already in the downloads section of SF2 with the guns removed. The only issue would be the retractable tail wheel. The mesh names for the guns on the Mk. IXc are as follows: 20mm_L & R, cannon_bump_L & R and cap_L & R.
  7. Archipielago!!! Hmmm, sounds like a good place for Corsairs and Hellcats to tangle with Zeros!!! :-)
  8. While looking at pictures of aircraft from the 363rd FS I noticed that some had white-walled main tires, sooo...
  9. Started weathering the underside...what do you think?
  10. Well, I tried to add some smoke and oil stains. I originally added scratches but overdid it so I'll be trying again over the weekend.
  11. That's why I haven't done any patching since the june/july 2012 patch.
  12. Finaly done! I still need to add some weathering (a technique I really need to work on!).
  13. Ok now all markings (except for individual ac #'s and codes) are painted on the bitmaps and highlighted most panel lines and rivets. These are repaints of the textures released back in february, plus some new ones.
  14. Weren't the K's P-40E's with higher rated Allisons and dorsal fins added?
  15. Been messing with the F hawk (not shure 'bout the red spinner...can anybody confirm?).
  16. One good-sized color pic of the nose art and baamm...Aleutian Tiger!
  17. Does that mean we can now have 20 spitfires taking off at the same time?!
  18. Added white stripe to the spinner (I still think the stripe should be narrower).
  19. For some reason I can't download this file.
  20. All good subjects, but you know you're in the WW2 forum right?
