Gentlemen and Crumpets, Well, over the last few months a lot has been mentioned that we are shooting down to many enemy aircraft during mission or DID campaign and that P3 AI is up to “KAK”. I love shooting down LOTS of EA with the DID settings. BUT The answer to our immediate problem is only to select less AMMO % during the aircraft setup before takeoff. Start with 50% (but that might still be to much) and go down as low as 30% of ammo. The strange thing is we will all shoot down less aircraft and be more careful not to get into a big dogfight with the Crumpets. Cheers M

My grandfather was a air gunner (AG) during WW2 in B24's for the SAAF (South African Air Force). He was born in Scotland. A few months before he was laid to rest I had a few hours with him and we spoke about his "GREAT AIR WAR". He never said much but i could notice that it was not easy. He said that on about 20% of the group photo (All South Africans) returned home after the WAR. The rest were shot down. He mentioned that they flew Night Missions (there insignia were a "Night Owl with Archy spotlights") i have it in possession. I wish i had more time with him every day. m

I have OC mine to 4GHZ with the stock CPU cooler and it runs without any heat problems. Cheers m

Dear BigAI56, Yes, you do need to provide the correct names without RANK in the witness box. I use to write down the names but you can copy the names of ur flight during the first page. Steps (press windows button on keyboard) copy the names open notepad paste the names and put them in one line COPY the names again -without (wingman or any rank) Start the mission and kill enemy aircraft after a successful mission go to witness box and past the names. finished. Enjoy m

I have ATI Asus 5970 in Crossfire without that problem. Im still using 10.4a drivers. Have a look at the drivers you are using. Cheers Morris

At long last, the new DID campaign website is live: http://quaero.unm.edu/~justin/off/did/ I rebuilt it from the ground up (staying true to Siggi's beautiful design) to make the eventual automation of updates easier and added a few new features. More to come. Comments, suggestions, and feature requests are very welcome. Cleared most of the old out-of-date stats to start fresh so I need new combat reports from y'all. If you've got an entry for the Fallen Aces page submit combat reports as you will. I'm requesting more info now so it might just be easier to send me your pilot files if you know where they are. About the kills in P3. Even if you shoot down only one EA per flight its 21 kills in a week during a Full DID campaign. I only fly DID campaign with Olham and the rest. That's still very high but usually you will also see ur ass if you hunt down all aircraft. In P4 there needs to be more ways of losing ur pilot which will help to even out the scores. If you are in a tight turn with a ALB fighter you will lose a wing and many times the OFF manager outcome is not death or disaster.

Carrick58, I have 81 confirmed kills with one of my FULL DID campaigns. I lost the pilot after a clean windows install. You are able to follow the pilots careers on the DID campaign website.
