  1. Hi all, I announced a while back I was working on the "Vietnam: The Air War" short movie, but now FINALLY just got around to working on it. I have had many school related and family related things going on in the past few months/weeks, so I have not had hardly any time to even fly, so my progress has been limited and slow. But, here is my intro. It maybe changed, but I'm not sure. I'd really like some input on what I can do with it and where the story could go. I'm really not sure on where to go next. Movie maker's block? The download link is below. Your comments/suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. You will also be featured in the credits too. Thanks! liamp51 http://www.gamefront.com/files/20954842/Vietnam+Air+War-Prewiew.wmv
  2. Sure! Just PM me. I will probably be able to talk more Sunday or so. Also, do you have TeamSpeak? If you don't: http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads it will make life a lot easier for us when filming and such. We have a fairly large server, and one other person who plays SF2. Your welcome on anytime! Just PM me for the server connection info and such!
  3. Sounds like a good plan...I will keep working on it whenever I have time. Maybe by Christmas? Thanks!
  4. Hi all, I was wondering if SF2 models bullet ricochet on all stock guns, and not just some 3rd party guns. I was playing around with Wrench's updated MiG-15UTI earlier and discovered that at certain angles shooting at certain things, you could get the little 12.7MM rounds from the training Dshk to ricochet. Do other guns do the same thing? Thanks! liamp51
  5. Well, IL-2 actually There's a good bullet ricochet mod for IL-2 IIRC. And yes, it would also probably not be noticed by enough people to make it worth it. Cool effect anyway!
  6. I am completely fine with the DLC idea, in fact, I think it's great. It is a little more money going to TK to help support his bigger projects. Only thing I'm not so sure about is the content. Some DLCs seem kind of pointless. Like the SAAF Mirage IIIC. We don't have a map to fly it of off. I think a better plan for DLCs would be to include some "necessary" extras. For example. Instead of just doing the French F-8 Crusader, why not also include a nice Clemenceau class aircraft carrier to go with it so we actually have something authentic to fly it off of. You could have an option to upgrade your DLC purchase to include the aircraft carrier (or what ever else there might be) for a predetermined price. That's the way I'd do it.
  7. We also need suitable carries for the new (and AMAZING) Buccs! Looking great!
  8. Hi all, I'm a really big fan of red aircraft, especially the MiG-21; but there is one small problem. The nose landing gear on ALL MiG-21s in game is too long the attached pictures should show the difference. I was wondering if there is anyway to change this via .ini edits or something? Thanks! liamp51
  9. Where is that value inserted in the FM? I think I tried that in the past and it didn't work.
  10. Gah, me wants to upgrade stock MiG-17 3D models.
  11. LOL, Wrench, Imma write to OKB MiG later tonight. Yea, is it possible to modify stock aircraft in MAX? Or does TK only have access to the source files?BTW: MY skin is up for download!
  12. Hmm, ShockStroke does effect the aircraft, but it blows up on the runway when set as a negative value like it needs. I saw somewhere people were saying something about "OnGroundPitchAngle=" or something similar. Well, I'll keep experimenting. Thanks!
  13. Yea, I was looking at shock stroke, I'll experiment.
  14. This is what I do. First, I go to my SF2:I mod folder (IE: the main modd folder, not Objects or something, the base SF2:I mod folder.) and rename it to xStrikeFighters2 Israel. Then run the stock SF2:I, and that will create a new unmodded SF2:I folder. Then install ALL your DLCs. After their done installing, find the DLC aircraft you installed and drag them out of the Aircraft folder to your desktop or something. Then, delete the unmodded SF2:I folder that the game created when you ran it. Rename your modded install back to StrikeFighters2 Israel. Then all you have to do is drag and drop your DLC aircraft from your desktop to your modded "Aircraft" folder, and Wallah! Hope that helps! liamp51
