  1. Russ, I would sing your praises if you made 2048 rez templates available.
  2. Oky doke mate. Lol you're right, the bacon basher keeps me on my toes.
  3. That would be quite an easy skin to make, not many mesh connections necessary by the looks of it. Tail's simple, so is the nose due to the different colour radome. Wings would be simple too. Would you like me to try and whip something up?
  4. You mean this one? http://www.eugene.es-krs.ru///camms/ar/808/pics/109_3.jpg
  5. Have you seen the other plates that are available at Wings Palette?
  6. Try this... http://www.eugene.es-krs.ru///camms/ar/808/pics/109_1.jpg
  7. Corny Jokes Thread!

What do you get when you cross-breed a bulldog and a sh*tzu? (I'll let you decide.)
  8. Corny Jokes Thread!

A dyslexic man walks into a bra.
  9. Corny Jokes Thread!

What do you call a fish that lies? Codswallop.
  10. Corny Jokes Thread!

An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman all walk into a bar, the barman says, "is this some kind of a joke?"
  11. I would pay large sums of money for a sim where we can go and play with Baghdad Bob's MiGs that are buried in the sand
  12. Hey Davey can you show me where the nose is mapped?
  13. Going by Russo's wip pics, it should be both versions.
  14. Unfortunately, without the original model files, you're gonna have to do the keep on loading the game up to see the changes of your skins on the aircraft. If you happen to have the source files of an aircraft however you're in luck. By running the image editing software, and the modeling software at the same time, you can see the changes instantaneously. This is however impossible for the stock aircraft, as so far, there is no .lod viewer program that is advanced enough to be of any practical use.
  15. Small update, the devil tail art is done...
  16. I say let's swashbuckle him to no end. Lot's of keelhauling too if that's ok with you. Yar-har me hearties!
  17. Poll: Batman vs. Superman

Like C5 says, Batman has no actual superpowers, where as Superman is pretty bloody amazing, laser vision, ice breath, flying, super strength, the works. Superman would win hands down before Batman even has a chance.
  18. I use 3DS Max 7, with Lithunwrap and Photoshop CS3.
  19. Looking gorgeous there craig, you've done a fellow Brit very very proud!

Making Surface Texture Effects Looking good mate!
  21. You have totally caught the wrong end of the stick, USAFMTL isn't referring to Marc's wip of the B-1B, he is referring to the model that had been started by mikewhl a long while ago.
  22. Oh Yeah......

Davey Davey, almost correct, the last line is actually Fried chicken. Slightly before my time and just over 20 years ago now, here is the opening of the Queen concert at Wembley in 1986... P.S. Check out his piano skills in the intro to Seven Seas of Rhye.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=jWNBZnzNK_I
  23. There's nothing wrong with the 3 view, it looks quite decent in fact. I think the problem is stemming from the flow of the polys under the cockpit. This comes from the method shown in mustangs videos of using the slice and then non-uniform scaling. The problem is that the pivot point stays in the middle of the selected vertices when you scale them. You need to "shift" down all the polys under the canopy so that the fuselage looks more fluent. I had the same problem trying to build a Martin Baker MB.5 model, if you can lower the pivot point when you have selected multiple vertices, it should be relatively easy to fix. So far your model is looking great mate, should be very fun to intercept with.
