  1. I wouldn't know much about your FM problem, however if you download Streakeagle's F-4E Thunderbirds mod, he has included a formation flying mod that may be able to help you out.
  2. Brilliant work mate! This will come in very handy indeed
  3. In addition to the topic of alpha channels, here is a great video tutorial for understanding and using the alpha channel. The guy uses Photoshop CS2, however it should be applicable for most versions of PS... http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/layermasks
  4. Lots of B-days Today

    Many happy returns guys!
  5. Looks good Veltro, keep it going. Don't know if you've seen this, here's a thread containing some great photos of the Foxhound... http://militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=114344
  6. Unfortunately, what you're asking for is currently not possible within the confines of the game engine. Also, from what TK has said, it will not be one of priorities of improving his sim.
  7. Hey FastCargo, how's your know-how on the Block 60's?
  8. Dam Dave that's looking great, this should be good.
  9. Looks cool, who's modeling it? Is it Dlink, or perhaps another?
  10. Pic of Iranian F-14 with the Hawk missile loaded...
  11. Certainly am Wrench, two of the afore-mentioned russki's are having my pastels thrown at them 2048 high rez baby yeah!
  12. Dave's right, in addition, to that FM he linked to, if you want to use it in SF or WOE, you will have to change the nation name so that it matches a nation available. Also, if you head on over to Major Lee's site at www.majorleesaerodrome.net there are a few different versions of the MiG-17. Lastly, if you browse the Cold War Aircraft download section here at CA, you will find a few other variants of the MiG-17. Enjoy mate.
  13. Looks like two things may have messed up here, firstly, it appears like there isn't a required alpha channel in the .tga decal file, and also, the relative size, or scale of the decal art itself is way too big, judging by the size of the decals.
  14. Hey Marc, don't know how far along the modeling stage you are, but here's a walkaround that may help you... http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/howard_m...j-8b_finback_b/
  15. Would anyone in the community have any interest or potential knowledge on how to go about creating a lod viewer for mainly the stock TW aircraft and also any 3rd party mods? This would cut down skinning and repainting times immensely. I know that this has been asked before however the discussions haven't ever come to much. Anyone interested?
  16. Allen, only the Sufa, the I model has the CFT's, the B and D models don't use them so far. That is for the IDFAF anyway.
  17. Zur's site is www.zur-tech.com Like Dave said, there is a F-86A in the works, I've been skinning it. Here's an old wip shot... EDIT: NRGRHAARGH Crusader you beat me to it you old dog!
  18. 747 Variant?

It's a modified version of a 747-200 I think. It could very well be the same aircraft they used in Casino Royale... Casino Royale 747-XXX
  19. There's some tutorials over at http://www.simmerspaintshop.com, they should be able to get your started/
  20. Hey airvee001, your models look great mate. I wouldn't have much idea about the animation issues, however the community weapons guru, Bunyap would probably be able to give you some very good advice on it. He's a member here so you should be able to shoot him a pm.
  21. There sure is a much easier way mate, if you want to shed some cash get photoshop or paint shop pro. Or for keeping your wallet in your pocket, google a program called The Gimp. Its a painting program that is almost on par with photoshop and paint shop pro.
  22. Great work Zur! Keep it going mate.
