  1. Hey Gerald, just had a look at your model, pretty nice mate!
  2. It is a WIP yes, Marcfighter is making it. Here's the thread about it... F/A-18E/F Super Hornet
  3. Personally, I'm not the guy to be talking to about the advanced ini dancing, however from what I've seen posted throughout different forums, I would imagine that its the same type of setup as the external model methods shown so far. As long as the animation is defined in 3DS Max then I believe it can be manually operated by a key input. Some of the guys in the community who are the 3d modelling and ini experts are definitely the ones to ask about the topic.
  4. Do you mean to say can the canopy be animated whilst being in the internal cockpit view? If so, that can be done, Mago has done that with his MiG-21 cockpit add-ons. If you are asking about other types of animations, like levels moving or switches flicking, gunsight mountings being moved etc, I would imagine so as TK has recently put in 10 additional animation slots that can be user-programmed within the game. For this to be used however, the animation has to be defined and set within 3DS Max.
  5. Hey Sundowner, I'm going to Duxford this weekend, where they have an RAF FGR.2 Phantom and also an F-4J. Would you like me to get you some good detail shots at all?
  6. Flatulants Roll Call

    Fart! :stink:
  7. Jim, templates for wpnssgt's F-16 series are here at CA, templates for the Mirage Factory falcons are at C6. In fact, wpnssgt F-16's: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...&showfile=7 MF F-16's: http://www.checksix-fr.com/bibliotheque/in...ail&ID=4852
  8. Looks quity nifty, impressive to see it do a cobra-ish manouevre.
  9. In a nutshell MajorLee and SayWhat, a simple program with a few commands such as texture browser, zoom, pan and rotate I'm sure would suffice to make it a very handy tool indeed. I know nothing of coding or programming, perhaps there are others in the community that do. I guess it mind depend on the complexity of the coding of the .lod file, how easy it would be to interpret in a viewing mode of some sort.
  10. If I remember correctly from Boopidoo's Su-15 and wpnssgt's MiG-25's, the dragchute deploys as part of the speedbrake animation, however, it gives the effect of being authentic by using a command line something like: DeployWhenOnGround=TRUE You'd have to check exactly what it is though.
  11. Allen, I have a fictional IAF skin in WIP for the Stock A-10A.
  12. Roll Call

    Crayola Bib's here
  13. SidDogg, if you're using Paint for your skinning, you could go miles better with a different program; The Gimp. It's completely free and is almost upto scratch with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Oh, and nice kill markings mate!
  14. If you go into the L39ZA.ini in the L39ZA folder, to make the shadow not appear, change the following line... [shadow] CastShadow=FALSE<<<<<< Change to this ShadowLOD=l39.shd ShadowType=1 ShadowCastDist=80 MaxVisibleDistance=80 This will cause the shadow to not appear. I don't know about not having any weapon instructions. Perhaps download the file again. There is a weapons folder with the weapondata.ini entry and the gunpod files included. For instructions on adding the weapondata.ini entry see the knowledge base, there is a tutorial there.
  15. Looking great Mustang, especially that cockpit! Flanker, here's one in the downloads section... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=2865
  16. When you extract the archive file, you should get an L39ZA folder, Weapons folder and a readme file. There are instructions on how to add the gunpod. As to the low fps, I just experienced that as well. I made two flights, one with and without the shadow on. Turning the shadow off or deleting the shadow line from the L39ZA.ini file will give you a much better FPS.
  17. WK, I made some high rez F-86 templates, if you'd like to use them, let me know.
  18. If you go to http://www.simmerspaintshop.com they have all the of the Federal Standard colours converted to RGB values for you to use.
  19. Here are the templates for the PFM, they should be pretty okay for the MF model, although you may want to compare the original bitmaps to check for any discrepencies between the two. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...mp;showfile=691
  20. It does, yes. In fact I know of two in the downloads section. One is Jarink's skin, and the other is in USAFMTL's F/A-18A USN skin pack. Both are in the F/A-18A skins section.
  21. Air drop inbound Major, check your Papa Mike.
  22. Major Lee, I don't have one, but if its just the panel lines and you've got the time I can help show you how to make one in a very short amount of time.
  23. http://bunyap2w1.com/campaigntut.htm Have you read this tutorial?
  24. Hey Tazkiller nice skin you got there About what you asked, jump on icq, got tonnes to tell you.
  25. There certainly is yes, there is a canopy opening mod for nearly all the stock aircraft in SF and WOV in I believe the Object Downloads section. There has recently been a new feature implemented by TK, which allows up to 10 key designations for set animations on an aircraft.
