Rockwell/MBB F-31A Mustang II Version 1.0 for SF2
DWCAce replied to Dels's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
Excellent model. I've got some kind of weird attactment problem with the gear door stations, but I'm digging into a fix:) Thanks for the model, havent' flown this since the days of Jane's Fighters Anthology! -
FC, your second point was the one of my concern, a big ass airbrake holding you back with all of that drag, especially on an untested engine & airframe.
-
Hmm, nothing like jeopardizing safety for public opinion. Then again the debate on securing vs. using the engine could go on for a bit as well...
-
Just read an update on that in one of the trade journals. I'll try to get some more info up when I get a sec...

I'm not a TMF member, but considering events of recent months, I'd give them some space/time on their projects. They'll let us know what's going on in due time. -
Here's an update on Venezuela's nut job and his latest antics. P-3's Provoke F-16 Intercept

Funny, I thought Limbaugh died a few years ago. Guess I'll just have to reinstate him on the 'douche' list.

While flying one morning this summer, tower gave me whiskey. Then shortly after it turned to x-ray. -
Haven't seen the Red Arrows yet, though they were in the area a few years ago. The Snowbirds put on a pretty good show, even if it isn't all 'zoom & boomb'. It's pretty impressive what they do with NINE aircraft.

You said MS made it freely available? I'll have to check into that.

I think we're working a charter tonight to get some more folks down there to help out.

Damn dudes! -
I'm surprised that Dave didn't get this one: Red Dawn. WOLVERINES!!!!

I would think for an airlift a/c you're want something that you could load with minimal equipment. With the C-17, you've got drive up service, whereas the A-330 requires pallet loaders and other equipment.

It's also quite useful when shooting an approach down to mins in IMC -
I have to side with the HotNess. TIE Fighter was where it was at! Especially with the Super Secret Squirrel Society.

I suppose that's a good way to stimulate the economy, and a new thread! Good to hear from ya

Have you installed a third party weapons pack? I'm pretty sure -120's are not stock weapons. -
You'd probably have to go shopping for a new microwave :)

You may want to check around the USAF history site. I've seen a bunch of free stuff from there. Just finished reading 'Contrails Over The Mojave' by George Marrett. It covers his experiences as a test pilot @ Edwards AFB during the golden age of flight testing there. http://www.amazon.com/Contrails-Over-Mojave-Testing-Edwards/dp/1591145112
