Downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. Don't know about the ordnance statistics from Allied Force... but something tells me that a microwave oven isn't going to defeat a missile... especially if the power grid happens to be destroyed.

Harriers and hovering?
DWCAce replied to xclusiv8's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
The real planes have better engines, highly trained pilots, and water injection, but they are still limited as to what loads they can carry for a vertical take-off. Most of the time they use a short, rolling take-off. -

It's got nothing to do with what type of aircraft you're in, it's based on altitude (or cabin altitude). Mooney's aren't pressurized, and I'm guessing (heading towards a slippery slope here..) he had an issue with his oxygen system, leading to incapacitation and subsequent loss of control.

Very cool! I'm sure FC will be proud!

Hey, it was not COMBATACE's fault that Maverick was an amateur and did't read his NATOPS!

Dagger, congrats to you and your grandson! Hopefully you'll be able to spend more time together, and he'll learn to appreciate and respect nature, and firearms.
