MF F-14 cockpit repaint
DWCAce replied to The Trooper's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Drop my a PM with contact info, and I'll send you some cockpit details straight from the NATOPS manual. -
If you kept your ears open during the game (at least the begining of the 1/2 time recap) they played part of a song by my friend's band (The Crash Motive, formerly Omnisoul). The song 'Not Giving Up' is played in stadiums and is also featured on the NFL console games. Video

Lexx, I was hoping you'd chime in on this one. Thanks! -

I've got a fair amount of info on the B-36. Here is the link to what I've posted so far on the Weapons Wiki: http://bunyap2w1.com/SFP1_Wiki/index.php?t...acemaker_Series It's still a WIP, but I'm sure I've got the book available if people need a reference. -
Sorry for your loss. Over the years I've lost some fish, and hamster or two. But my hardest losses were my first rabbit and my dog. I know how it feels....

I don't think anyone has thanked America since about ehhh 1944/45 or so. Your country has a ton of history in it (military and cultural), and is on my of places to visit when I get a chance. Some of my Jewish friends have done the program that starts at a concentration camp (Auswitz ...ugh, can't spell today), and continues into Israel.

Uh... I'm not sure where you might be able to find one....

Be sure to visit the Imperial War Museum in London. Especially the Battle of Britain exhibit (assuming they still have it), it was quite sobering when I did it.

Best of luck! Keep us in the loop.

Possible to Build Airwolf?
DWCAce replied to shawnfergie's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
I started one a few years ago, but it was absolute crap. Dream Max also started one, and it's in my custody. I don't even want to touch it because I lack the skills to finish it. I'll try to post a screen shot when I can. -
You want survior? Let a plane crash (preferably an antonov or illuysion..) or dump them on an island. Come back in a year or so.

Just a little plane I've flown once or twice...(pictures)

I think the MF's model is the one you're looking for. :) -
And another one is saved!!!

Last night mom's dad passed away. He had some health issues in the past week or so, but was expected to recover and was doing well. He served in the USN as a parachute rigger, and was stationed at Dunkeswell (Link). The USN flew their version of the B-24 on anti-sub patrols out of there during WWII. Well, that's all I've got for now... On a positive note, Happy New Year's guys & gals.

I just wanted to get out a quick 'thank you' for all of your support and well wishes. Jon

Glad to hear they are doing better. :)
