  8. new guy with real life question

Another thing is that there's a ton of computer based training (I assume) for the a/c that you're getting ready to fly.
  9. From Bill Barto, over at the F-14 Association: So raise a double of Wild Turkey in salute to those who made it happen... ALWAYS BABY!
  10. I'll probably be soaked in Jet-A, and maybe glycol by then. So bring those silver bullets on.
  11. Dave, nukes are OK, but as with anything else, only when used in moderation :)
  12. Interesting photo

Typhoid, would you mind if I posted that pic over at the F-14 Association forum? We might be able to get some more details . :)

  17. Photo Links Updated

I'm organizing my Photo Bucket account. There are now two areas for photos and one for screen shots: Aviation Museums http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b169/dwc...tion%20Museums/ Military Stuff http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b169/dwcsnake/Mil%20Stuff/ Screen Shots http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b169/dwc...Screen%20Shots/
  18. So Saggy invited myself and the g/f to visit his ship when it made a call to Boston. I must say that it was pretty impressive... not like the tours you get on a museum ship. On an active ship you get to feel the atmosphere, and there was PLENTY of that. I'd have some good memories only if I was able to remember what the hell happened! I'll be posting some pics in the near future.
  19. Close Encounters of the Canadian Kind

Here is the link with some info on the ship: http://www.navy.forces.gc.ca/halifax/home/index_e.asp And links to my pics: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b169/dwc...HMCS%20Halifax/ Looking astern: Sag and a whole less soberer Ace:
  20. Close Encounters of the Canadian Kind

It was kind of rough. Luckily I was on floater once again, and I only had to do 2 planes, each required the use of the lift deck (an A-300 & A-320), so that made it easier. Right now I'm just standing (more like sitting on my ass) waiting for all of this snow. I hope to post the pics either tonight or tomorrow. Ok, back to hydrating and resting!
  21. Close Encounters of the Canadian Kind

I don't know, the only selection I made was Labatt Blue (they spelled it wrong on all the cans :) ) .
  22. How could I forget?

Best wishes to you and your family!
