  1. Looks like I'll have to get that after the move!
  2. Phull Phrottle........

I might have to use one of those for the desktop!
  3. Argh, still having the issue. I'l post it over at TW, maybe some light can be shed.
  4. I had to re-download all of my installers (now the Jun '12 versions). Upon trying to install SF2, it hangs up on the twGamExplorer.exe. Anyone else having and issue with this? Never mind, it just took an hour or two.
  5. Fired up NF4+ for the first time in awhile. Took an F-105D against a steel mill and ran right into a SAM site. These two pics show the missile inbound. Not sure how, but I didn't get a scratch.
  6. As I have limited skills (and time), I might be able to help beta test..... But if you have any reference questions, please ask! JB
  7. Post your videos HERE

If you have a humorous, crazy, neat, or otherwise entertaining video, please post it here, or if it is not family friendly, please post the link ONLY. Enjoy!

  11. Carrying this over from the SF1 KB... When dealing with military a/c, several types of fuels have been used throughout the years, and each has it's own density. Depending on how in-depth you want to be with your a/c or drop tanks, here are the service years, branches, and densities for jet fuels: JP-4 Density = 6.5 lb/gal (1951 - 1995, Primarily used by the USAF) JP-5 Density = 6.8 lb/gal (1952 - Present; projected to 2025, Primarily used by the USN, and other navies) JP-7 Density = 6.6 lb/gal (used by the SR-71) JP-8 Density = 6.7 lb/gal (1996 - Present, Primarily used by the USAF) Jet-A Density = 6.70 lb/gal (used by civil turbines) *These densities are for a temp of 15 degrees C / 59 degrees F. (API density) Example: 1x F-111 External 600gal Tank holds 3900lbs [600 x 6.5 = 3900] of JP-5 (I'm using JP-4 since that's what was in service at that time). Now, to insert the fuel weight into the game, it must be converted from pounds to kilograms: 3900 (lbs.) x.45 = 1755 (kgs). Once you've converted the weight, insert it into the 'Capacity' box in the 'Fuel Tank Data' section in the weapons editor. Depending on what your references are, you may get your fuel capacities in gallons, or pounds or both (or in metric is applicable). Second to having a full breakdown of fuel capacities, I prefer gallons since you can just multiply by the density, and then convert to kilograms. Below is a file with some fuel capacities to get you on your way. If you have any information, please PM me as I'm compiling a list. Mil AC Fuel Capacities.pdf
  12. I seriously doubt that squadrons or airwings changed ships while deployed. Too many things to move. Now, once the cruise ended, and the next cycle came up, I'm sure that many ships were changed depending on what was available.
  13. Dave, Otto, Caesar, PM me if you need any info for your F-14 mods :)
  14. Looks like I've got everything set for now!
  15. The issue that I'm having is when I rename one of the exes, the mods that are in the saved games folder only reflect that title... I'll keep playing with it.
  16. Last night I tested the install process. In order, I installed NA, VN, ER, and Exp2 (or whichever one the Europe Exp. is). Everything shows up in game. Now, the next issue for me is when I change the exe name, only stuff from that game shows up in the mod folder...
  17. This was posted awhile ago by Wrench (I believe). I'm assuming that we install SF2:NA, and then the Exp's
  18. Ah, makes sense. Looks like i might merge them since I want to head towards the RSR scenario.
  19. Since we're talking mission editing, I have a stand alone install of NA. Do I install Exp2 over it so that I can get the mission/campaign editor working? Sorry, been out of it for awhile (well the wife would say longer than that! )
  20. If I want the mission editor on my vanilla NA install, do I just throw the Exp2 into it?
  21. Sounds like there's a purchase in my future!
  22. ATAC Kfir Down

I know via FB who it is (didn't personally know him), but won't mention the name yet
