I'm friends to all mate, life is too short for silly political games, we have enough of those in real life !!

The unfortunate thing is, there are a few bit 'n bobs he has which modders on this far superior and friendlier site have enhanced, such as the Viggen etc, and things like the Swift , Scimitar , and attacker, which aren't available elsewhere ( or at least not that I have found) I have managed to get a few choice files such as the Viggen, and the skywarriors etc which have been revamped by Wrench and other modders, however t I didn't manage to get the scimitar, and attacker, also some of the First Eagles stuff I didn't manage to retrieve unfortunately. I wanted the Tweets and the connies too, but he killed my account before I was able to get 'em......the insufferable LITTLE man. it's just annoying and frustrating. Just as a point of interest, how legal are his so called "copyrights " ?

Well thanks for not bollocking me lol, I tried to be as polite as possible about it all, but I do rather hope that he may be infested with the flea of a thousand camels ( if they will have him) and be afflicted with the curse of T-Rex arms so he is unable to scratch. mind you he is obviously a "little" man any how with small penis syndrome, and just because his nam is Cesar, he thinks he is actually the re incarnation of Calligula.........I hope his files and he, are very cosy together. PER ARDUA

I must get myself one, sounds to be a good bit of kit !!

I also run spybot S&D (filehippo.com/download_spybot_search_destroy/ ) along with Malawarebytes, they do actually work very well together, and sometimes one detects things the other misses, CCleaner is also invaluable, I'm afraid I don't Rate Norton, or any virus killer that you have to pay for, security should be free and available to everyone, I rely on Win Defender which works as well as any payware Virus scanner, and it is in built already into Windows, after having major issues with Avast causing slow downs and memory hogging, I just now use the tools aready in place in windows, however, Spybot, and Malaware are vital, as they can spot key logging attacks etc. and CCleaner will clean out pretty much everything you want got rid of too, just keep 'em all updated and run them all about once a week and you are cooking on gas mate !!

That is looking really very scrumptious I must say

Default throttle settings
Trotski replied to Trotski's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The issue is my throttle is set at zero, but the flight seems to want to start at 50% ( randomly) so if I flick the engine off then back on, the throttle then shows as zero......so my mapping isn't the problem, there is obviously some conflict somewhere that causes this to happen, like I say its random, so the workaround is just to flick the engines off as soon as the flight starts. which isn't really too much of a problem really, its just a niggly issue which is playing havoc with my OCD lol lol lol. The issue seemed to start after I installed the A team Hornets......and NO !! I aint uninstalling 'em, before ya tell me to lol -
Default throttle settings
Trotski replied to Trotski's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Throttle is always set at zero, so that certainly isn't the problem, also as the problem seems to be at random, my physical throttle setting aint the issue here at all, its a very odd phenomenon, to be sure, I have checked the setup of my X52 and that doesn't seem to be the issue either, so maybe I shall just have to live with it, as if it were a common problem you guys would have known about it already....oh well....lol -
Yeah we have lost Lemmy, Natalie Cole, David Bowie , Alan Rickman, now Glenn Frey. What the hell is goin' on !!

Trotski replied to Trotski's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
And now, its stopped happening .......Arrrgh....I hate intermittent problems......however, I would still like to know where to look and see what may be causing this issue, also setting the engines to default off, at mission start -
There is just something, I dunno, fainly romantic.....is that the right expression ? About Silver wings era Aircraft. They were quaint, but very capable, and deadly. I have a love of all things Italian Aircraft wise any how, and I just love the Gladiator, Seen her flying a lot at both Old Warden, and at Duxford. My dreams were answered when I got a 1 hour flight in a Tiger Moth at Duxford for my 50th . I just wish I could afford more !! So bring 'em on I say, Gauntlets, Chirri's etc etc it would be nice if they were transferable to FE2 as well as SF2 , just because lol I salute your skill at modelling these beauties, I wish I had the knowledge and or skill to do it myself !! So keep 'em coming please.

Two of the prettiest ( In my humble opinion ) Fighter bi-planes ever produced, love 'em both. Pretty evenly matched in a fur ball I imagine.

Squadron patch woes
Trotski posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Hi there, just a quick question, one I am sure I have seen asked and answered somewhere before, however I can't seem to find it, so I am going to ask anew so to speak. basically my problem is this, I am currently faffing about with various Aircraft, to create skins and markings for both the Dhimar, and the Paran Airforces, but I seem to have run into a peculiar issue, I have been adding squadron patches, and or numbers to the noses of various aircraft, and when I go test it, to see where I have stuff placed etc. they absolutely refuse to show up, unless I then quit out of the mission, whatever mission it may be, then re fly and first go into the weapons load out screen, then, on exiting and then flying the missions, all of a damn sudden, just like freakin' magic, the damn things are there, in all their splendour, and correctly positioned etc. Anyhow, my question is, does anyone have an inkling as to why this happens, and how to prevent it from occurring as it is rather tiresome and one is getting rather irritated, so much so I may have to squash a grape, or even jump of a dolls house....any help and or explanation's will be much appreciated. -

Squadron patch woes
Trotski replied to Trotski's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Hmmm the thing is, they actually do work, but only if you go into weapons loading first, if you don't do this, then they will refuse to display, however on going and adding weapons or whatever, on exit from that screen they do display, its weird, had the issue on other skins I have messed with too, and its only ever the squadron patch ....very odd indeed, not world shatteringly important I know but you get my point. Ok I shall try the level 0 option then, as I haven't started messing with Squadronlist ini's yet...... -

Bristol fighter was more commonly known as a Biff , FE2 was a FEE , and I am sure I read somewhere the BE2 being referred to as a flying hip bath

I stand corrected, however I was using the analogy as a semi humourus comment on an otherwise very nasty incident , however, I shall most certainly look at the article in question, as a little knowledge is as they say, a dangerous thing !!
