  1. Kim Jong-il dies at age 69

I'll never forget a documentry that I watched where a group of doctors went to North Korea to prefrom surgery on some of the locals. These guys go in and do procedures that basically saved a bunch of peoples eyesight, some of them were pretty much blind when they got there and could see after they were finished. What really struck me as downright scary was that each and every one of those people got up without thanking to doctors themselves, and walked over to a giant mural of Kim-Jong Il and thanked that, heaven forbid they actually thank the evil westerners that just saved their eyesight. Though I imagine if any of those people didn't go and pay homage to the mural they would probably wind up in a gulag or something. I sure wont miss Kim-Jong when he kicks the bucket, I just hope whoever the hell steps in for him isn't crazier than he is.
  2. Heres the CaptainSim B-52H, exterior only for now. Still $10.00 isn't bad
  3. Check out www.alphasim.co.uk it's a payware site but they have a pretty decent selection of freeware. If they don't have sounds or panels then I'd try to find some on www.flightsim.com or www.avsim.com. As for payware www.a2asimulations.com has some really great titles, they're producing some titles with 'Accusim' which basically means ultra-realism, currently there's the P-47D Razorback, B-17G Flying Fortress, Boeing 377 Stratocrusier, and the J-3 Cub. All have the 'Accusim' expansions that you can buy and I strongly reccomend them if you like any of those aircraft everyone of them is pretty good inside and out. PMDG is another really good company which offers some really in-depth simulations of the B747-400, MD-11, and Bae J41, but if you get any of those make sure you have plenty of time to read manuals and learn how to program an FMC lol. Heres a screen of the A2A B-17G:
  4. U.S.S. Hornet

Some photos I took while visiting the Hornet in Alameda, CA
