I have an older 1280 x 1026 19 inch non wide screen LCD. In the Workshop I can't read what the default FOV should be. What are the default settings?

I have HITR and the patch just that in the workshop half the number (lower half) 23 and 16 is cut off. Thanks for telling me what it said though.

Roland D2 or the Pfalz D3 (Not D3a which we have)

When I was stationed in Germany in the 70's in North Bavaria there was a white wine called Frankonia (Not a brand name but a type, like a Merlot is a type of red) Wine I drank any chance I could get. I have not found it anyplace in the US. My wife and I drank my last bottle 27 years ago. I guess the Germans are keeping it to themselves. Anyone know of a German Wine importer?

As a new Hat in the ring add-on owner I loved the numbers of new planes for a reasonable price. The Nieuport 24 is one of my favorites. In the next paid add-on I would like to see more holes filled. For example at one point in 1917 the Roland D2 made up 25% of the front-line fighters for Germany. (Winsock file on Roland D2) Another needed hole filler plane is the Pfalz D3 (not the D3a) and the Nieuport N23. Neither the Nieu N23 or Pfalz D3 would take much 3D model work. As for 1918 I would like to see A Pfalz D12 and a Roland DVIb. Lets face it HITR was a Allied aircraft fest with only the Fokker E5 thrown in. No matter what the next paid add-on will be I will part with the money gladly.

OVS I would love to see a LVG or a Alb C3 in the game but I did not mention two seater types as they require more work to model the rear gunner. I would still like to see a Roland D2. It should not matter if it was not liked as well as the Alb D2 or early D3. It flew in large numbers. (25% of the fighter Aircraft in early 1917 per Windsock.) Being the first add-on was very much a allied focused release, I for one would like to see a German focused add-on in the second one. I recall that the Pfalz D12 did not do too bad in the vote posted last year.

The next add on pack will have multiple new Nieuport models. I look forward to it. Needed to fill in the blanks. The Germans could use a Pfalz D3 (Not the D3a). Is there any plans to add it?

Just thought that it would be a quick one to do in time to get added. Minimal 3D model changes. Some cockpit changes. Yes I would rather have a Pfalz DXII but that would be alot more work I think then to make a Pfalz D3. (not DIIIa)

My wife will be asking soon what I want for Christmas. Well I could tell her the new add on pack for OFF Between Heaven and Hell. She will say "I like to watch you fly the two wingers." Where do I get it and don't you dare buy it before Christmas yourself." Yes Dear I say. Dreaming of Sugarplums and Nieuport 28's and Pfalz D12's and Nieport 23's and Pfalz DIII's (Not D3a's)etc. Problem I can't point her at a add-on pack yet. I know we have gotten hints of 1) EV / D VIII 2) Nieuport N28 3)Nieuport 24 / 27. Will there be something I can point her to for a pre-order. Could we get something more solid? How much what will be in it? Spouses need a Christmas list$$$$.

I would rather keep my (getting rare) 19 inch standard ratio LCD then get a wide screen 24 inch LCD. So in summary all I want for Christmas is my two...I mean my OFF add-on.

Nice but the rate of fire is way too fast if it's anything bigger then a AT gun.

Having flown the Pfalz D3a often I can't help but think it's Flight model is off. A late 1917 or early 1918 German campaign is not for the faint of heart. It's too slow and fly's like a truck.

Updated my 1.28 install updated to version 1.3. I then ran the new hardcore DM patch for 1.3. If I then start a new campaign with any German jasta at any time that is currently flying a Pfalz D3 or D3a I get a message the plane is not available yet. It shows on the quick missions but will not go to the field. If I run the normal version 1.3 DM patch I can again fly a Plalz. What gives?

Polovski thanks for the quick reply. It's nice to know it's not my fault. (I am a married man so I am used to that one.) Look forward to the fix. I really liked the 1.28 hardcore damage patch so looking forward to patch 1.31. Best flight sim I have payed for in over 2 years.

Stratos I think others in this thread have answered your questions. Given the OFF team lowered the price for a limited time to $39.00 buy it. I am glad I did even at the higher price. You can set realism settings to your liking. I have played little IL2 since my CD arrived. I hope the OFF team can see that they can make real money releasing a couple planes a month for a small fee. I would be like a dope head, money in hand each month with the shakes......

A wish list huh well I voted for the Pfalz DXII. -Just cuz I like how it looks. Next votes are all for "others" 1) Nie 23 -Tired of pretending my N17 is a N23 2) Nie 24 -Used lots more then the N28 which was rejected for French Service 3) Roland -D2 Need another mid to early plane. For a total of four. Yes I am a married man and thus know how to obey.

I bought First Eagles the First week it was out. What a pile of you know what out of the box. A very small handful of flyable planes. Maybe if I never flew Red Baron 3d and it's many mods for so long first. It's the only time I bought a game by TK and felt like I was riped off. Both SFP1 and WOE rocked. Maybe one day I will try First Eagles again maybe.

I for one am glad I paid the fifty bucks for it, frankly it was more finished then other WWI games released in the last 2 years. It still has some bugs but the OFF team is releasing patches every week to two weeks. The damage model is vastly better then First Eagles. Has as much immersion as RB3d which is saying a lot. I only hope the OFF team will add a plane or two in the next patch or two. It would go a long way in nudging folks to part with the cash. I for one would pay for an add on pack with several more planes. Still it has out of the box more planes then Sierra released on day one with Red Baron 3d. Money well spent I say. :yes:
