Georgia is trying to join the European Union as well as NATO. I watched some of the Russian Today video on youtube that accuses Georgia of starting the violence. Interesting to see all of the propaganda still present in this coverage. It would be almost comical if there weren't people being killed. South Ossetia has always been considered part of Georgia. A russian even said this is ethnic cleansing against South Ossetia. Of course the Russians are being portrayed as the noble peace keepers. At least until they start driving their tanks into the Georgian heartland. Putin is completely innocent in all of this since he is in China at the opening of the Olympics. Yeh... right. Does anyone see through this BS? Didn't they start their Afghanistan war this way also? The more I read about the history of this, the more it just stinks. Yet perfectly consistant with their increasingly aggressive actions as per the Bear bomber threat in Cuba in relation to a missile shield for Czechoslavakia. Here is a story from a UK source: [LINK]

The New Media Monopoly by Ben Bagdikian in 2004 showed that there were only five huge corporations such as Bertelsmann, Disney, Murdoch's News Corporation, Time Warner, and Viacom, controlled virtually all of the media industry with GE's NBC coming in close to sixth. This is from 50 corporations in 1983 to 14 in 1992. That three major network anchors joined the Obama media excursion is further evidence of how the corporate line attempts to influence politics. I myself don't even bother listening to what these corporations say through their over paid mouth pieces anymore. Looking at other more reliable sources for my essential elements of information, until they too get bought out by these corporate moguls. Hey, the truth is still out there somewhere, right?

Every person's body responds differently to the stress of physical exertion. I'm not going to speak for anyone else's experiences with marathons and related sports activities. I'm merely speaking of my own experiences with track, cross country running, and thirteen years in the military as an infantryman. Which, by the way, had to be cut short due to a couple of arthritic knees. I have nothing against anyone who wants to wear down their bodies within a decade or so. Maybe if I had four legs instead of only two I would still be able to run today. Yet walking does let me see more of my surroundings. Good shoes may reduce the stress but again, if you run continually on hard surfaces, eventually it begin to hurt you more. Especially those in the military who have to carry heavy loads and endure heat stress whilst covered with body armor, or sometimes chemical suits for days or even weeks at a time. This is totally different then wearing two pounds of clothing or a nice coat of fur. If you catch my drift.

Wolves also tend not to run on hard surfaces such as pavement, concrete sidewalks, ...etc. Running on non-compacted surfaces decreases the risk of damage to your body. Trying to modify your stride or gate can be alittle more difficult without shape shifting your body though. Oh, and stay away from doing marathons, biatholons and the such. Those can do alot of damage to your body over the long run. I heard a story that the first guy who ran the marathon, well, he died.

Russia-China Treaty of Friendship was signed in April of 2005. They have military exercises with each other on a regular basis. This is to offset the unipolar power imbalance held by the US. Russia is arming Iran with missiles, top of the line aircraft and nuclear facilities. Making Iran an increased threat to its neighboring countries in range of its ICBMs. So the US planned on providing Yogoslavia a ballistic missile shield to protect it from any stray Iranian missiles, Russia then went ballistic. Because Russia also has a mutual economic and military agreement with Iran. So to react to the US move they now announce their plan to move Russian bombers to fly out of Cuba. The Cold War never ended my friends, because they merely reshuffled the order of leadeship to open up their economy to make more money. That goal has been attained enough to go back to business as usual. Savy?

I don't know what country you may be referring to here... but in the U.S.A. it isn't the job of the police to protect us. I don't have a police officer or security guard protecting me. Neither does the majority have any such setup. That's why you are expected to defend yourself via our 2nd Amendment rights. Thousands of Americans do this every year. They protect themselves, their families, and sometimes complete strangers. That's what it meant when we made the Declaration of Independence one of our founding documents. Now, in 1992 many people signed onto the Declaration of Interdependence and probably believe it's the job of someone else to risk their life to save yours such as the police/law/government. There's a reason why the U.S. of A. became such a successful nation in a relatively short time. Probably the main one is that most Americans strive for their own Independence from others telling them what and when they can do anything. Would you be able to say that after you put the police/law/government in charge of you?

Let's all remember the Enron debacle with some perspective of all the participants. It was the deregulation of power in California that created the environment that let Enron go hog wild. Corrupt government officials were the initiating guilty party. Today we have the Public Private Partnership scenario which I believe Mussolini called Corporatism back in his day. Of course Corporatism is also known as Fascism but nobody uses those obsolete phrases anymore so instead we call it Public Private Partnerships. Which state was that Senator from in the clip? California, yep, you bet! The whole fault of the energy crises in California lies at the altar of the State Government, and still does today. Has California built any additional power plants since then or do they still import power from their surrounding states? Want to know more? Then read this: LINK

I had considered the HOTAS Cougar, CH, X52 Pro. I chose the X52 Pro because of the price at $146.99 but also because of the non-contact technology of the stick. Meaning no potentiometers to get dirty and start malfunctioning. The Cougar can be modified with these hall sensors at no small expense if you are capable to do it. But I'm banking on this non-contact technology to last longer and be more reliable. So far the two months I've had it have gone well. Does anybody now of any other HOTAS that comes with this non-contact technology - hall sensors? -
You're right, it isn't about the good cop, bad cop factions of the Republican and Democrats. What the clip was about was a U.S. Senator making a completely idiotic statement by suggesting the government should run an industry. That's why she almost stopped in mid-sentance. Historically, that's always been a recipe for disastor but also in the USA it would be illegal. Unless your building a totalitarian society. That's why her statement was so outlandish and why I posted it. Just focusing on what she said, would that be representative of just Democrats? No, I didn't think it did. Nor is the world coming to an end just because someone had a calender that ends on 12 December 2012 (12/12/12). I'm hoping on enough people will wake up to how ridiculous some of these things are we've pointed out in this thread so that some day they won't be suggesting such despicable things. But I won't be holding my breath anytime soon either.

The EMD safety bracelet reminds me of an old TV show called "The Prisoner". That there are people who actually considering this is despicable. That there were people in California who were considering putting remote control thermostat in everybodies homes that could be operated by some state run department is also something I find to be despicable. One more despicable item is the term "gun control". Knowing that it isn't about guns as much as it is about control over you. Who do these people think they are? Answer? Where they might be also getting some funds for their luxury items is here: Going Chute-less The story is titled: Going Chute-less: Air Force pulls parachutes from KC-135s, By Tech. Sgt. Jason Schaap "At the same time, a lot of time, manpower and money goes into buying, maintaining and training to use parachutes. With the Air Force hungry for cost-saving efficiencies under its Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century program, commonly known as AFSO 21, the parachutes were deemed obsolete." Hey, somebody call AFSO 21 and give them some more cost-saving ideas such as doing away with seats in aircraft because why sit when you can stand? The crew can just wear their civilian clothes and velcro or duct tape themselves to the bulkheads, airframe. Well you get the idea. I'm sure we all can come up with some great cost-saving ideas so the upper command structure can live the life of Riley because hey they deserve it more than the enlisted ranks do.

Stretching, bicycle training, swimming and running in place in water up to your chest. Or any cross-training that varies the stress on those shins. Too much pounding exercises can sometimes do some damage that is hard for the body to repair. Also remember to do a warm down after strenuous exercises such walking for 20 minutes. I used to get them when I was still growing as a teenager but then never got them again after that. Running every other day or so while doing other types of exercises may give your splints time to heal. It can take 48 hours for your body to fully bounce back from a sustained series of exercises. We would train hard for 3 or 4 days in a row and then a day before do a real easy short slow run before the next days competition. The day of the competition our bodies were ready to race. Diet and hydration of course too.

A source said huh? I believe that any analyst, let alone a journalist, worth anything would always rely on more then one source. A source with direct knowledge doesn't mean anything unless it can be bolstered by another not having contact with the first. Probably some teenager with a cellphone given to him by the reporter. Obviously a person having not a clue about military tactics. After the initial contact of the first attack they are now in the pursuit phase of mobile patrols hunting down the fresh trails left by the retreating insurgents. The little semantic word game being played is the anti-military factions trying to imply that our forces had to abandone the base after they had been attacked. Like any coward would do. Of course though it is a lie, as usual. What is cowardly is CNN not using terrorist or insurgents to describe the enemy. Militant is someone who hides behind a black balaclava and throws things at the police during a anti-war protest rally. Just more misinformation for the masses. Oh well. At least our heroic troops know the real deal, and that is what really matters here.

An aeronaut or aviator? Youtube video -
I notice that the story keeps repeating past American casualties. I kept hearing and seeing 9 dead in Afghanistan that some media outlets like to report without reporting anything else in order to come across as meaningless deaths. But finally the mentioning of heroic fighting is attached. All military personel who lose their lives in service to their country are heros. But it never is said enough. Heroic fighting? Even better.

If I want to see stories not reported by mainstream media outlets, I'll go to these websites such as newsbusters, drudgereport, frontpagemag, wnd, debka, michellemalkin. But if I want to hear the same news stories reported in the same biased, subjective way I can watch or listen from any of these corporate news sources such as CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ...etc. Flipping back and forth you can see the same stories almost in the same order every night. So much for a free press. But I'm always looking for new sources of intel.

That's what civilians call it, a rehearsal. Of course that's playing the semantic word game as is usual. What the Israelis are doing is training for contingencies. Like all professional armed forces do every day to keep their proficiency level above those other forces that are potential threats. Like countries that tell the world your not going to be around much longer, ...hint, ...hint. That type of training goes on without the usual need of hush-hush. We know ours and Israels capabilities to carry out military actions. Why the press is used to telegraph a message to known threats that its a rehearsal instead of merely training for all contingencies is a useful intelligence tool. Like opening a door to see where all the roaches scamper off too. Or just another act of sedition in the hope to precipitate conflict.

One thing to consider was the whole fiasco was set into motion by Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani's Commanding Officer at the time, Brigadier General James Mattis. Afterwhich Mattis was promoted to General and became NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command. I'm sure this was an instance of a career move aimed at furthering his own career while sacrificing his fellow Marines. You can guess that Lt. Col Jeffrey Chessani career is all but finished as far as the good ol boys club of the Mattis type are concerned. Lt. Col. Chessani wouldn't be considering a lawsuit against Murtha if he knew otherwise. My viewpoint, by the way, is coming from thirteen years in the Corps and seeing, hearing how things work for an Officer to succeed. To which throwing some other Marines under the bus is seen as an asset of strength. Also one of the major reasons I got out when I did with an Honorable Discharge.

Yet no charges against the real perpetrators of all of the fatalities at Haditha. Those that initiated the ambush and used civilians as human shields. Any investigation to find those people? No, I didn't think so. The day this was first reported by Americans posing as objective journalists I knew it was propaganda by those who support our common enemy. Over time, the truth always prevails while lies don't. Maybe I knew this from my time on active duty as a Marine Infantryman for thirteen years. Or maybe a lifetime of seeing how the American News Media has lied to the American public time and time again. The rules of engagement are rules of life or death. Deadly force rules are known by any infantryman before he ever gets deployed to an area of imminent danger. Usually an intense eighteen month training evolution for first timers. Only units that pass all combat proficiency tests are deployed into any potential combat area.
