  1. Sikorsky R-4B / HNS-1 / Hoverfly Mk.1

Yakarov, amazing work as usually. So much fun to fly. Your many contributions are always top notch. A possible bug to report: I'm having an issue with the glass transparency on the pilot's door when viewed from the exterior, and the copilot' door when viewed from the interior (when viewed with the door open). These sections are not transparent as other parts of the cockpit are.
  2. If you are talking about the f-4 trop, check out their forums. There is a fix outlined on the product announcement page. A few data.ini edits and it flys just fine.
  3. If you want to fly from carriers in single missions, this is what I did: 1. Go to the download section (maps / terrain mods - environmental mods) and download the water_maps_1.02 by Kodiak http://combatace.com/files/file/12804-water-maps-102zip/ and follow he instructions to place the water maps in each terrain folder. 2. You need to ensure that the plane has the following statement in its data.ini: CarrierBased=TRUE. If it is obviously a carrier plane, it will have this statement. 3. You need to ensure that the plane has a carrier available in the Groundobjects folder from its respective country with corresponding service dates. If it's USN this will not be an issue. 4. You need to ensure (as Kodiak made clear) that the following statements are in the terrain.ini of each map you plan to fly from: Example for VietnamSEA: NavalMap=TRUE WaterMap=VietnamSEA_Water.bmp It should work now. This all assumes you use the mod folder and have extracted files from at least the terrains you would like to use. If you haven't, then you will need to set up carrier missions using the mission editor as already mentioned. I hope this works for you.
  4. For those (like me) who have new spitfires that bounce until they burn, try renaming your options.ini in the saved folder and then restart the game and get it to generate a new one. This seemed to solve the problem for me after some trial and error - even after going back to the Jul2012 patch. I'm not sure why it worked but it worked. I'll let those wiser than me provide an explanation. I hope this helps!
  5. More testing... It wasn't the new options.ini, it was switching landings from hard to normal under game play options.
  6. Each time Istart the game (SF2:NA) I lose all my non-cockpit stock aircraft that I havemade flyable. Very frustrating! This is not after patching, which Iunderstand and deal with efficiently, but after each game start. Anysuggestions? I have afully merged install (March 2012 level) with everything from SF2:V to SF2:NAwith quite a few DLCs. I havereinstalled the game – no luck. Evenwith a fully stock game I cannot make any non-cockpit aircraft flyable otherthan with the Flyall=TRUE option. My onlysolution at this point is to make each aircraft .ini file read only. What am Imissing?
  7. I’m back in business! Thank you everyonefor all the help. Paulopanz, your solution did the trick – all the stock aircraft that I want flyable arepresent and accounted for after each game start. Now off forsome carrier ops with the A-6!
  8. Thank you for the sound advice and good humor. Wrench, I took your advice long ago and it always worked like a charm until yesterday. I'll try paulopanz's suggestion when I get home from work tonight and see if it works. I hope so! I could also try going to the April patch to see if that makes any difference. My "read only" solution is working for now but it is hardly ideal. Thanks again for the help. I'll let you know what works.
