  2. I'm trying to add sound to jettisoning fuel tanks. Do I do this by filling in the "Sound Name" section in fuel tank data section of the weapon editor?

  5. Then what is the Sound Name section for then? Also, there is a BombRelease sound but it is never used from my experience; why is that? I was thinking about using that sound for the fuel tanks.

    There already is a Range terrain by Bunyap (http://combatace.com...-range-terrain/). Exellent for training, which is what you would do with it. Would this serve your purpose?

  8. When I went to the National USAF Museum, the Wild Weasel exhibit made it seem as though the SAM radar detector was mounted upside down. (The aircraft's nose pointed toward the bottom.) Is this true?
  9. I'm having a problem with the campaign I made. After one mission, even if it is successful, it says: "The Enemy has completed their strategic objectives. This campaign is finished." Why is it doing this, and how can I fix it?
  10. I figured out my problem. This line: Squadron=10SFR is supposed to be: UnitName=10th Soviet Fighter Regiment in the soviet unit sections.
  11. Here's the campaign ini's. Maybe you can figure out what's wrong. Note: This campaign used a squadronlist.ini entry with allied squadrons added. I fixed the first problem, But only one Soviet aircraft shows up, an An-12. Flaming Wings INIs.zip
  12. What is the role of the SQUADRONLIST.ini? And do ai squadrons (non-player squadrons) have to have an entry? I'm trying to make a WOE campaign, and just for USAF fighter/bomber aircraft I have 32 squadrons. If AI squadrons don't have to have an entry it would save me a lot of time.

  14. I need some help with the Cat extractor. I'm running Windows 7, the extractor is is installed in C:\Weaponeditor. The problem is when I go to extract a file it says "Files Extracted" to where ever the cat file is. But when I go to the folder, nothing's been extracted. Any solutions?
  15. Oops, Problem solved. It just didn't have permission to extract files to the "Program Files" folder. So stupid of me not to think of that.
  16. Maybe you could find it in the pre-patched versions .cat file?
  17. SF1 vs SF2

    I got WOE because I found it cheap >$10 at a store near me. How do you merge installs? Maybe I've already done it without knowing it, because I can do WOV campaigns in WOE.
  18. I've had WOV for about a year now and I've decided to make a campaign for it. I'm going to use the Germany terrain for it (http://combatace.com...rmany-for-sfp1/). My problem is, I can't find the information on the base areas for the forces and the names of the air bases for the units. Can anyone help me? The knowledge base isn't clear on how to do this.
  19. Thanks for the help. I couldn't find the targets file and the planning map, but now I found them. This is my first campaign so its just going to be for me, so I work around any issues.
  20. Yes, any SAM's that the radar is controlling will be disabled. They lock on to you using the radar, so without that radar they're useless. Angels are friendly aircraft, bogies are enemy. By the time you reached the area they had already gone.
  21. Are there specific base areas for each map? And what are the names of the airbases? I couldn't find them.
