  2. Well Ifound that the source of my issue is F4 drop tank LOD files ahah
  3. Images of Aircraft Carriers that do not belong to the US Navy!
  4. I'm already implementing more true to life loadouts for the Iran-Iraq campaign and terrain I'm working on with Blaze... problem is practicality in games... having no ECM/Chaff/flares make flying over the front line impossible without getting shot down haha
  5. Well different bombs and missiles have different amounts of time they take before being "Locked" onto the target
  6. Iran-Iraq War campaign testing! Flying over the destroyed Khorramshahr ship yard and attacking ships before their cargo falls into iraqi hands... got my tail shot off by an Iraqi MiG-23MS but thankfully brought the precious and Phabulous LGB carrying phantom home
  7. Hey guys! Quick question guys... How does one reduce the number of flights in a campaign mission so that there isn't a huge battle taking place with 2 CAS flights, a Armed Recon, 2 intercept, a CAP, and about the same on the other side... This seems to reduce realism having 25+ tactical jets over one city at a time... while at the same time Im pretty sure its making my computer crash to desktop... Any ideas on how to reduce the number of airplanes flying? Or is this a built in thing? Also how do you reduce the skill level of squadrons? Ive got Iraqi MiG-21 pilots shooting down Iranian F-14's left and right... Although I did have one of the best dogfights of my SF2 career haha
  8. Ah thanks stick didnt know if I was missing something haha!
  9. Updating an Iranian F-4D with Zot Box laser designator for the WSO and Raven's beautiful Iranian weapons and effects!
  10. Thanks stick I will try your suggestions! But is there a way of limiting the engine to generate less than X number of flights? (By flights I mean formations of aircraft on dif missions) However the Iran-Iraq scenario I'm working on fits the SF2 universe absolutely perfectly
  11. Also Pensey a pilot could have died in the 'cute in the down also there are some ejection seats that fire automatically with a large impact to the airframe, as well as some seats could go off due to a hit from a missile... trying to make it better in your head so you dont get frustrated with it...
  12. Hey Ca, quick question, is there a way to have 3 separate factions on a terrain... For example an american carrier group, or Saudi F-15's over the gulf in an Iran-Iraq war type terrain
  13. Ah ok sounds good, my working theory for now is to have two separate terrains for those of us who like flying single missions, Western Asia 1975-1989 for Iran-Iraq action and Western Asia 1989-2003 for desert storm through desert fox action
  14. Testing a New playground for Iranian Tigers, Phantoms and Tomcats!
  15. Hey CA! Anyone have any tips about how to flatten rivers that go through mountain ranges?
  16. Ya I have been using the TFD tool and I have found a way to make the rivers... However now i have the problem of airfields not becoming completely flat... tires are still poking through the tarmac... airplanes take off fine its just an annoying visual thing So i tried exporting a heightmap BMP file from the TFD tool and then reconverting it back to an HFD using the BMP2HFD tool to see if a completely new file would solve the runway issue but now it just hangs up at 30% loading... thank gosh I backed up the original HFD Anyway around the game not accepting an HFD from the BMP2HFD tool?
  17. Awesome thanks raven I will check em out
  18. In the market for new flight stick.. down to two

I would personally go for the X52 I've owned 2 of them over the years and have never been disappointed with them. They run great with or without the accompanying software and they are HOTAS capable
  19. Raise the Safealtitudes statement in the AircraftAIdata.ini for the novice, green and regular pilots
