People have tried , but its not even close to the real thing. Wings Over and SF2 fly in the middle or the grey area between arcade and flight sim, that would be towards the flight sim part. However a true flight sim from the Vietnam would be fun.

I am a believer in the Drake Equation, but look at are planet now we have had radio/ satilite communications for a fraction of time on the Universal Clock. The problem is you need the stock F-4J from SF2 Vietnam. Use the F-4E cockpit, or download SF2 Vietnam. I also made a what if F-4S+ using the F-14A Tomcat cockpit, avonics.
