i download the mig-21 pack. it comes with various Mig-21 for SFP1/Wo* the Mig-21PF when I loaded the game, the plane just stop in the air, and the cockpit shifted to the left, when i hit f6 to view, it only shows the missile and fuel tank, the body of the plane is completely gone and it was not moving, how to fix can u help me?

Fubar just one off topic question: this line in the option.ini file AntiAliasing=0 what are the valid range of values for this parameter? -
I have watched some Youtube clips lately. They are all about fighter pilots riding their fighter jets and the clips recorded what happened inside the cockpit. When they turn their jets by rotating about the plane axis,they do not seem to be taking much G effect. But things changed when they climbed They seem to breath heavier. I wonder if the AI of the game behaves the same ? Can I adjust the settings in the Gameplay section to make the AI take up the same effects as I ?

cheers guys! thanks anyway. I'm not hard core, enough fun with what i've got so far. this game realy shines, the graphix is excellent, i play it in windows mode and the frame rate is beyond 60 sometimes 100. solved tghe gun issue too i chose ot cheat :D modified the gundata. enjoy the game enormously. now trying to understand the sam thingy. then put them into my own mission and play for the fun part of it. thanks again

Thanks Wrench. I will proceed to the Bunyap then. About the SAM and Terrain targets, I have tried that before but it was a long time ago. Just out of curiosity, is the SAM batteries linked up like a GCI network in Jane's F/A-18? So node A will wake up node B...etc.? -

Fubar is it possible for you to PM me the FM? I'd really like to see though I may not be able to tell the difference much, yet I still want to try it. And good to know AI has difficulty to understand limit. Currently I am playing around with MIG 19 and I ride the MIG 19 so it's MIG19 Vs MIG19. It's great fun. Fun comes from taking out a boggy by gun that's a kill. However I did force one crashed into the mountain, does that call a kill? *_* It dives, climbs and turns....quite clever actually, but as discussed before, it doesn't like limits...that's a problem, otherwise...perfect!

That's close to what I want to know. Maybe I didn't ask clearly enough though. We can also perform a high-G turn, by so much that we may also suffer from blackout, and when it happens, I hit F5 so that I can still continue to fight against the AI. That is a cheat. If I don't cheat then I should release the stick so that I can breathe and survive. What I am trying to say is that, can we edit the FM file, so that it restricts the AI from doing 'crazy' maneuvers, for example, a sustained high-G turn which lasts for 5 to 7 minutes? Also a sustained afterburnt nearly vertical climb. I saw one clip which shows the back-seat pilot having difficulties moving his head around as the jet continued to climb. I didn't know stall is simulated in this game before because I always set flight model on Normal. Hard = Realistic. Can the AI FM can be set up so that AI will also suffer from a stall?

no no! i was single mission. the game started with me in the cockpit. but the plane is not moving, it hung in the air. its weird, the plane body is not there at all and it is not moving at all while other objects are moving. i used this http://combatace.com/files/download/1451-3-silver-mig-21pf/ the plane now appears. and it flies but i lost the cockpit of the MiG-21PF from the completion pack. :( -
i think i understand you a bit. but further to that, if i reduce the Gs by modding, the ai will behave differently like they will turn with slower speed?? is that correct?

use RealPlayer (Trial version). There is a function where you can load your flv and convert into "Audio Only" file with a selections of file types. Hope this helps

Sounds silly coz they are sort of old games. Several years ago I played them in an internet cafe down town. I want them just for one feature, clouds. You can make clouds at different altitudes, and you can make several layers. Does it worth the money?

Fox News it was. The update was more detailed now. They are from the local Korean News. According to the updates, the sequence of events was slightly different than what I got from the beginning. shortly before 1:41 pm local time, 2 F-16 carrying air-2-air missiles arrived at the hot zone. They were supposed to counter 5 MiG-23s sent on earlier with air-2-ground weapons. The MiG were to conduct strike on SKR K-9 self-propelled artillery positions. By that time, both sides were not stopped bombarding, so another 2 flight groups of F-16 and F-15 were sent to reinforce the first group this time, 6 F-16s were carrying Air-2-Ground armament supposed to neutralize NKR coastal artillery. I also thought the same. But then I believe a war at this time is not possible. There are 2 sides under the current situation, US + JP + SKR Vs RU + CN + NKR. Given the US's economy downturn at home, and 2 battlefields out there, taking up another war in the Far East would be the most unlikely. JP worries about the possible refugee influx in case of a full-bloom Korean War so she doesn't want escalation either. As for SKR, a merge of North and South would result in something similar to West Germay merging with East Germany which has been creating far too many issues mostly economically. On the other side, China exports countless resources to NKR, food mainly as well as energy to make sure the stability of the state. In the event of a full-scale war, China will most likely take part in the conflict and at the same time receive refugees if NKR loses the war. More importantly, China will be politically a dead cat in the UN and will face tremendous pressure when she realizes her backyard is now opened to the US + Allied military invasions. China also has no assertions given by the RU to reinforce her defense or offence militarily. Thats' my 2 cents!

According to latest news, 4 minutes after the artillery strike, South Korea launched 2 F-16 to the area, possibly upon detection of North Korea's MiG-23 airbourne, South Korea scrambled 6 F-15 and 6 F-16 to reinforce the two F-16 sent on earlier. At that point, a total of 6 F-15 and 8 F-16 were up aginst 5 MiG-23. The F-16 was instructed to destroy North Korea artillery targets on the ground, and obviously the F-15 were to provide escort and wild weasel support. The 5 MiG-23 were supposed to intercept the first 2 F-16. An air war nearly broke cease-fire treaty signed half a century ago! What is the likelihood that the MiG-23 can counter the F-16 and F-15 given that MiG-23 is quite out-dated isn't it?

How do I make a sharp turn? Almost like a U turn without losing altitude? I saw that in Dogfight on History channel on the other day

What I saw was that the folker flew straight pass its enemies and suddenly slowed down and then made a 'almost' u-turn so it would face its enemies with its nose pointing at them. I tried using the rudder but still i have to pull back on my stick to make the turn and I lost some altitude... By the way, do you know if it is possible to have different paint scheme for each plane in the same flight group?
