Hi all, I'm trying to think of the best way of increasing the points that can be accumulated in a mission so that awards and promotions can be granted more quickly without having to run up fantastic air to air scores. The reason is that I'm about half way through building a med campaign for the RAF and while testing it I've run up an already unhistorical score of 45 air victories plus about 60 ground targets. I don't mind the ground kills but having to shoot down dozens of e/a is annoying and not what Im trying to achieve. Despite my claims I'm still only a Flying Officer with a DFC. What I want after 50 plus missions is to have maybe a dozen or so kills and be at least a flight leader with at least a DFC. Anyone have any ideas? I've thought about adding recce waypoints to every mission to increase score and adding even more ground targets. EAF602Whizz

Aces of the Italian Empire

Hi all, Thanks for your kind comments gentlemen, sorry I took so long getting back to you but I've had problems logging on. The campaign was built with version 4.04 Sky Captain (loved that film) although I was tempted to use the 37mm flak for a while. Also I'm glad the briefings are ok, I was worried about them sounding pro fascist or something, which they're not. I wanted to make the atmosphere right for the time and the situation without insulting anyone, especially anyone from Italy. It's meant to be a tribute to Italians so the thing I most feared is that I would get it wrong and upset them in some way. Thanks again everyone and I hope that you enjoy it. Also you're right Charlie, I should have mentioned that the Italian pack should be downloaded and installed first. I wish I'd realised sooner. Is it by the same Gaston who posted at the top of this page? If it is, thankyou Gaston for your work. -
