  1. aaaaaaaah,, hmmmmmm. A bunch of us down here in the basement with SF-1 and WOV-1 have brought forth a top notch fight sim for low end computers and first timers

    Yeah what gives it starts out,, with a bridge ,, then it's the same air base over and over well in wov1 any ways,, I guess the campaign isn't dynamic because the enemy sure works their butts off,, because the next mission in to the same base no damage,..

    I feel weird about using nukes in these sims I guess it's to cavalier to do so in the light of the times,,, you've seen my work,, and now that I've figured out how to use the ai bombers that are my wingmen we can way waste to any target with conventional bombs the trick is not to make it hookey I've got a B-52H launching the popeye missle and that has a range of my last guess 200 miles. I still haven' t got the cruise missle I just fake it with the popeyes

  6. I'd start in the Flight folder check and see if HUD DLL and the Avionic DLL's are there,, if it effects all planes it should be there,, to fix might be as easy as replacing those 3 files.

    on a related note in the far future I tinkered with the B-52 ai bombing alt ,,, I had first told my wing man to attack my target short of the target,, mayhem insued ,, next run was 40miles out I told my wing man to attack my target followed him in and we scored many hits

This is what I get for posting in the am before coffee,, I think the problem lays in ,, if you're changing stuff while in a campaign ,, the save campaign file doesn't jive with your changes,, and freezes the computer till you have too reboot,, so if you change something during a campaign delete the campaign and start over

I was getting that alot ,, it is real finicky in some Data ini entries ,, something is hard coded and won't respond to edits.. when I get it narrowed down I'll tell you what I think it is ,, I also had to re-install just 2 weeks into the game after purchase ,, I get alittle nuts ironing stuff out.

This is a step by step how to,, to get that big boy into a stock campaign,, and what you need to do to doll up your bird to be what it was meant to be,, this guide is not limited to B-52s. we are going to start with the Rolling Thunder Campaign,,once you've figured this out you can do the rest of them Step 1 you need to get this,,,http://combatace.com/files/file/343-sfp1woewov-cat-file-extract-utility/ Step 2 of course install it,,,once installed open it up ,, in the browser,, go to where you hid WOV-1, open it go to the Flight folder open it. Step 3 Go to MissionData.cat open it. Step 4 Go all the way to the bottom you will find WOVCAMPRT DATA .INI click on it and extract it to where you can find it. it will ask you, extract to Wov/Flight, press ok. Step 5 Go find your extracted file ,, cut/copy file and take it to WOV/Campaigns/Rolling Thunder ,,and paste into Rolling Thunder folder,, the hard part is done. Step 6 Open your WOVCAMPRT DATA .INI scroll down till you find this it isn't very far down in the USAF units //----- Player Unit [AirUnit002] AircraftType=B-52D <---------------Change this so it looks like this or what ever plane you want there.
