If you are missing cockpit instruments in FS2002, make sure you go into the panel folder and extract the fx zip file, and superh zip and put them in the guages folder.

Loman is a little utility used to add weapons, aircraft and anything else you might want to add to the game. It will extract the files and update the ini's for you so you don't have to. It's pretty slick. When you download weapons, make sure it is the loman compatible version.

Use LOman. It works very well for Sfp1 and is very easy to use. Save you a lot of grief and a fortune in smashed keyboards

marijuana needs to be legalized. That would take it off the street and put drug dealers out of business. Then the Tobacco farmers would have something else to grow since their business is declining. If the government regulated it like they regulate alcohol, there wouldn't be a problem. We could use it for paper products as well and save some forests. You are right about prisons as schools for criminals. Prisoners can also go to college for free. Isn't that nice of our prison system!!!! I should have killed someone so I could get my degree for free.

Religion is another story alltogether. It would be great if the Christians would keep their religion to themselves. Unfortunately they are in Muslim countries church planting and getting themselves into heeps of trouble. Remember the two girls that our soldiers had to rescue from the taliban. Church planting. They wanna go back!!!!! Crazy people. I know that the death penalty shouldn't be used on every felony. I was joking on my last post a bit. My problem is that multiple felons seem to keep running right out of the prisons and back into society. After the 19th offence, they might get a just sentence of 2 years probation. I'm a reasonable man. instead of death penalty for all felons, mandatory life sentences!!! how's that?

Health care: Let people buy drugs from wherever the hell they want to. Force insurance companies to reduce their rates and pay when a claim is billed. Insurance companies are the ones who make all the money. Guns: Give the cops the best weapons available (whatever the military uses). Mandatory death penalty for any felony. We are overpopulated and we might as well start with the bottom of the barrel. Economy: The lack of high paying jobs prevents people from spending money on things they would like to buy therefore hindering the economy. Welfare: regulate it. When I go to the grocery store and see people buying crab legs and lobster tails with their welfare card, I want to beat the crap out of them. I cannot afford to eat that well. Education: being a math teacher in a high school setting, my hands are tied when it comes to discipline. I do teach, parents do not help. I'm also burried in paperwork on a daily basis. add in the 2 weeks per year that mandatory testing takes place and I don't have time to teach. Abortion: There are too many kids running around unsupervised and unparented as it is, why make it worse. Allow abortion. Environment: If environmental laws are not enforced, overpopulation not corrected, alternative fuels not found (it's amazing what soybean oil can do), then the rest of the issues won't matter anyway. Kerry voted for the war in Iraq. Seems to me like he wouldn't be passive. The war in Iraq was a good thing. We shouldn't have lost any allies in the process. It's all about tact. Bush's speeches make him sound like he's an asshole. There is a way to say "kiss my ass" that sounds more friendly.

I'm a Kerry supporter (let the boos begin!!!!!!!!) I'm also a supporter of the military and more specifically the people that serve our beloved country. The reason I don't support Bush is that he is too reckless with his diplomacy. He lacks tact and persuasive ability. If we had a president that was coolheaded in time of crisis, we could have convinced our allies of our reasons for going to war with Iraq instead of provoking a feeling of uneasiness with our revenge seeking leader. We all have our opinions and can sit here and argue about it until our fingers cramp. I'm not going to convince a Bush supporter of my view just as a Bush supporter will not convince me of their views. The only true power you have is in your vote in November. God bless the people overseas and those that have served in any war for defending that freedom for us. That's how I feel about it. P.S. You can vote at Wal-mart?

Playing this game on Veteran is so intense. I've never played a game that scares you like this one. Every time I get killed is so sudden that you don't see it coming. Very immersive. I'm just starting the Berlin missions. So far to date, the Stalingrad missions were the hardest. After that though, you get to drive around in a tank and blow stuff up. Great fun!!!!

Here's a frustrating mission for you. The one right after the dam mission where you're in the back of the truck shooting rockets at motorcycles. I've been killed so many times that I can't even guess a number. Great game though. The best FPS I've ever played!!!!!!

the manual that came with it was a joke. a manual from any other combat flight simulator would be more helpful.

Have to agree with vegas. This plane is the most fun to fly on the blow crap up on the ground missions. You can destroy the mission objective and everything around it with this plane. Not only is it the most lethal aircraft, but it is extremely fun to fly. This and the seaharrier are a blast.

oh yeah, also be very subtle with your stick movements so you don't overcorrect.

A good way to practice approaches is with the GPS. IF you look at the gps around a large airport you will see a bright green triangular shaped mark sticking out of the airport. If you go to the end of the green mark and start to fly down it, it will line you up with the runway. Once you get good at it, you will be able to do it without the GPS. Have fun!!

After installing the latest patch, I am very pleased. one nice thing is that it protected all the add-on aircraft and weapons. I was dreading re-installing all that stuff. Probably the best thing about this patch is that the landing sounds have been added and the planes don't bounce like they're in nerf world. The handling of the aircraft is much better. They handle as if the controls are connected to the surfaces with solid materials instead of bungee cords. Before if you wanted to roll and stop rolling you had to think way ahead. Targeting is also inmproved. I can actually hit stuff with the rocket pods now. All in all, this sim is getting much better and thank you TK for your hard work and dedication to this project.

Figured out that my joystick is malfuntioning. I have a Saitek Cyborg Gold USB stick and the four buttons on the top are registering as being held down all at the same time. That explains the guns firing when I get in the game. bummer. Stick's broke. Time to get a new one. Add that to the old christmas list. :(

I have the opposite problem. When the plane loads up, the gun is already firing and fires until it runs out of ammo. Once flying, the game crashes after a minute or two and I have to reboot. Also, the gun firing all the time thing happens on all my planes now....even the stock ones. Things are not well in Strike fighters land over here. Bummed.

More weird now. Every plane that I load up now is messed up. When I appear in the cockpit the forward guns are firing......without the trigger being pressed. Still getting the program crash with the A-10 after a few minutes. Oh lord what did I do? I FUBARed something big time. Any help would be appreciated. I may have to re-install.

Weird. I put it in gundata.ini. I also used the gun editor to add it as well. It doesn't work and the plane after a few minutes of flight freezes the program so I have to restart. I love the model though. It looks and flys quite well. If anyone has the same problem and knows how to fix it, please post.

Those lines of code for the gun.......Where do you put [gundataxxx]? I put it in Weapondata.ini. Is this correct?

It would be nice to see prosecutors actually keep someone in jail. Look at R.Kelly. They have video of him comitting the crimes he's accused of and he's out doing concerts, making albums and shooting videos (the mtv kind). Sounds like jacko's back in my home town again. Do you guys remember when getting arrested actually meant spending a night in Jail? He was there for what, five minutes. nice picture on the arrest card eh? Sure they didn't accidently arrest Latoya?

Living in Vegas pays off sometimes. The nellis air show was great with an F-18, f-15, and f-14 demonstrations as well as the c-17, b-2 bomber, and the stealth fighter. The best part of the show however was the oportunity to get within 20 feet (any closer and the guys with m-16's will have words with you) of the new f-22 raptor, and the f-35 joint strike fighter. They are in flight testing with these new planes at nellis so we see them taking off and landing all the time. The thunderbird demo was somewhat lackluster as they only had 1 solo plane instead of 2. Not sure if this was due to the crash, or some problem with the other plane as they towed one off the flight line before the demo. Other high points were Sean Tucker's bi-plane aerobatics, and unlimited and formula one racing. All in all it was a great time and it is an annual event so make plans for next year.
