  1. Olham, that silver bird is truly a very beautiful paint job. Crates of beer for the ground crew are in order. I've not put a skin into OFF before, but I sense an RNAS career with personal skin coming on so I'll have to look into it. And to all the excellent skinners on these forums, hurrah. You do wonderful work.
  2. Stunning job Olham. I really like that one. Personal skin maybe... Widow: "Silver Machine" would be quite apt for a "flying machine". And you could always name her Stacia
  3. We're not worthy!!! We're not worthy!!!
  4. Great shots and stories everyone. Keep 'em coming
  5. Last time these politicians tried to axe the Red Arrows.....now it's the BBMF. I signed that petition and the missus and I have signed this one too. They get this country into hundreds of trillions of pounds of debt and then try to axe our heritage to pay back some of it. Disgusted.
  6. Fantastic shots all. Some wonderful stuff these last two days. Vyrago, you certainly have a talent there for a beginner. This forum has some of the best screenshot artists I have seen...and I've visited a lot of forums in my time. You guys are awsome.
  7. OT--Are Your Feet Cold?

I've been a rabid American Football fan since 1986, when the "aints" fans used to wear paper bags over their heads. Whose laughing now? So happy for you BH, it's been a long road. Even as a die hard niners fan and ex division rival I've been pulling for Nawlins since Drew Brees arrived. One of the best QBs since Montana. Hmmm. Can I invent teleportation fast enough to get to Bourbon Street....
  8. Incredible work. Just....Incredible!
  9. Awsome skin Morris. Fantastic job Olham.
  10. Beautiful shot Widow. The Brisfit looks mean from any angle.
  11. Terrific shots CamelJockey. That first one is amazing. And you could almost add a caption to the second: "I sure wish I'd stayed as a chauffer"
  12. Maybe not the prettiest, but possibly the most dangerous was Lidya "Lilya" Vladimirovna Litvak, the "White Rose of Stalingrad" who died in action with a final talley of 12 solo and 3 shared victories. So beware Widow.....some of these ladies have a real sting. This search produced several good links with a lot of information: My link
  13. Ok. New years resolution. Stop lurking, start complimenting. RC, Stunning screenshots there. The early war shots in that first string are especially beautiful. The opener of the DH-2 is an instant favourite. The three at sunset are impressive not only for the aircraft, but for the landscape below which 'feels' somehow organic. The atmosphere is wonderful in this sim. The first contact with the pups is captured at just the right moment as the two flights are about to knife through each other against the backdrop of darkening clouds. And the EIII pulling away as it's victim falls away behind it is surely calendar material. Thanks for sharing RC. And thanks to all the other screenshot artists whose work graces this forum that I've not comented on from 'Lurkerdom'. But most of all thanks to all the people involved with OBD. I've mentioned the landscapes. But the models and skins are amazing. You can almost see the brushstrokes on the undersides of those wings, and the tires on that cigones N-17... It's not a simulation anymore. It's an experience. I could gush on, but I think this is enough for a (I think) first post here. So I'll just raise a glass to all involved, and Hurrah for the next man who dies.
