That is probably true but I have to tell you, I would love to have a high-def Spitfire to fly around in (a BoB era one would be fine, but I'd love a late-model Griffon-engined beast). Unfortunately so many of the WWII aircraft are crap jobs--I wish Jim were still around. :cray: -

Feels good in the A-7 though when you have AIM-9Ls and pop a couple off at any Flogger foolish enough to overshoot...bye-bye Mr. Commie! -

In Vietnam the A-7 had one of the best safety records of any aircraft. I'd have to check my sources but I think on a per sortie basis fewer were lost than any other type of strike aircraft. -

What I really want for Christmas (and every other day of the year) is something I will have to keep to myself. The second runner up would be to get my new engine running again tomorrow--ran into a snag with my distributor and have to replace it. New part came in yesterday but I haven't had time to work on it yet.
