"To crush your enemies, See them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women." Seriously..............Thunderstorms. There is something primal and visceral about them. Watching them grow and develop, to hear and feel the power from within and the amazing lightshow as they move off in the distance. The variety in it's dynamics as every cell is an individual entity. Secondly, my "family" consists of me and my dog. I grew up in a seriously dysfunctional environment and so I can only imagine what a "normal family" might be, but have no actual reference points. I'm the middle of 3 boys and my mom lives in Hawaii where I spent most of my childhood. Older brother is constantly trying to be MY father which I resent more than you could know. The younger one is in line to try out for "The Jerry Springer Show", seriously. My mom, though I respect many things about her, wears on me and eventually gets on my last nerve when she visits. Love her to death, but close contact with her or my brothers for an extended time period is simply out of the question. My dogs over the years are a completely different story. ALWAYS happy to see me when I get home from work (regardless of what shift I'm on) or return from errands. Cares only about the simpler things of which I too enjoy most. Some attention, a little exercise and ALWAYS an open ear when one needs to just vent. Truly my best friend. Simple is best for me. No drama, no overly emotional tripe of any kind and clear communication without it being layered in hidden motives or agendas. Something I have yet to find in any female of the species. My "family" will ALWAYS consist of having a dog, I cannot say the same about a genuine woman. My mom has recently gotten to accept that she will always have a grand-dog-ter as it's becoming less and less likely a grand-daughter will ever come to be from me. Material things are nice and they serve their purposes. My motorcycles, my models, computers and so on. They provide entertainment to an extent. The colors of a Sunsets, Thunderstorms, Stargazing, a fireplace, the beach and the companionship of a good and trusted friend. The simpler things are best to me. Just sayin'.

Service is an Honorable calling. It is sad when anyone passes, but tribute the honor of his service and he will always be remembered well. For ALL those who have served in past present or will in the future, ETA: A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Have you tried making a poster before?

AVG free version. Been using it for years. MacAfee and Symantec act as bad as viruses as they are so system invasive they bog any OS down just short of crippling it. Have never had that problem with AVG, even while it's scanning.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em. All the way down to burning the butt.

Not defending nor condemning, but some people claim the religion angle. "The bible says....." and so they believe they have to comply. Not taking a position as many do not share my point of view on religion. Just throwing it out there as a possible motive.

Elizabeth Hasselback should do the same. I think she is trying to keep up with everyone else in the "I'm pregnant again and demand your attention" sweepstakes, just one at a time and inperpetuity.

Ummmm, maybe it's me, but I can make coffee at home and take a cup with me for far less than getting one from these kinds of places. With possibly the exception of going to a CowGirls or Bikini Baristas or similar and getting a little bit of a show, coffee isn't EVER worth several dollars a cup, IMO. It's not that great tasting anyway from most of these places, really.

I'm losing more and more respect for him and caring less and less about anything he will ever do. I hope his ego is truly as big as it is appearing to be because when the bubble finally does burst, it'll be all that remains. His legacy is undeniable, his reputation and integrity have suffered because of his ego. I no longer respect the person behind the stats............again and again.......and since the Vikings aren't in the Division my favorite team is in, I give even less of a f*** about what happens to him any longer.

Where should we send flowers? The POTUS has indentured the next 2 generations of unborn Americans and is nearly doing so for a 3rd (his master plan for health care), we've all bailed out banks and such that should've been left to fail and fold, we are all paying for mortages where people put themselves VOLUNTARILY into a bad loan situation and got caught by it, not to mention the SoS gets her panties in a bunch when upstaged by her hubby for going to North Korea. Daisies okay?

In my opinion Freedom isn't "free". I would support a minimum Military Service Obligation being mandatory and even go as far as making it occur between the ages of 18-26. Completion would grant one the right to vote just as a Dishonorable Discharge should withhold that right. Entitlement seems to be considered a "right" in the US as of late and I don't see a lot of appreciation of things from younger generations. Many things including their actual rights are taken for granted and imposing something like a mandatory minimum term of service would instill (hopefully) a sense of appreciation for things including but not limited to: teamwork, achievement, citizenship, freedom and patriotism. Too many people (mostly younger but not exclusively) seem to expect everything to be given to them instead of earned. Especially with this recent era of "Political Correctness" where even at lower age groups "everybody wins" and personal (individual) achievements are dissipated if not expressly frowned upon. You want freedom? What are you prepared to pay for it? A few years of your time in service to your country and an opportunity to not only learn a career skill but a chance to learn and grow as not only an individual but a respectful citizen isn't too much to ask in my opinion. I served 8 years myself on Active Duty and got out after the Gulf War (1991 - 213 days in theater). I have been working for the Department of the Army as a Contractor and now as a Department of Defense Civilian Employee, so in a sense I have remained and am still serving. I expect nothing to be given to me but a little respect as a human being. Anything more than that should be earned one way or another. Service to ones community; be it town, city, state or country should be looked upon as "public service' as our Founding Fathers had envisioned it. Everybody serves at least some time in some capacity for the greater good. Career Politicians wouldn't exist as they only seek personal agendas. If you do not at least serve your community (at whatever level) then you are nothing more than a contemptable leech.

A friend turned me on to this project. He has twins. Yes one boy and one girl..............Lucas and Leianna. I kid you not. The kids LOVE the Lego Star Wars series and have a Grandfather with "Chuy" as a nickname (long before my friend met his potential mate ever met). Anyway, I present to you (fan or not) this unique and well thought project.

Like any ingredient, selection and preperation are key fractions in this formula. It is very good for maintaining the elasticity of blood vessels. Generally the softer varieties are best for soups and stews while the firmer is best for stir or deep frying. Keeping in mind that it has a relatively high water content so some attention prior to any kind of frying should be taken. After "slabbing" the cube to desired thickness, I "sandwich" the slabs between several paper towels (over and under) and weight them down slightly to lightly press some of the excess water out. Then just prior to cooking season or marinade as desired. Then cut to size just before cooking. It's all good.

"The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has limits." - Albert Einstein "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" - Unknown "The first rule of holes....if your in one, stop digging" - Unknown "Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." - Unknown Besides I grew up in Hawaii and lived in Colorado, there are stupid people everywhere that get themselves in over their heads by ignoring posted signs and other warnings because they have NO common sense. They deserve to be out of the gene pool in any manner they see fit to remove themselves.
