  1. Great that's just what I'm after. Cheers
  2. I still can't locate the Range update by Wrench, can anyone point me to the file please? Cheers.
  3. Thery're shown above on the Harrier and Tornado, however here's a closer shot on a Harrier. Cheers for the help!
  4. The actual rails are canted slightly downwards which is correct, it's just the missiles are back to front though ironically still correctly canted downwards. The problem has to be within this aircraft as they're fine on everything else.
  5. Many apologies, it was of course your good self!
  6. The weard thing is that when loaded like this they're fine! There's something that the Typhoon doesn't like when loading the three rail version of Brimstone, as it's fine on every other aircraft. I've tried everything I know to fix the problem but I'm now completely stumped.
  7. Cheers fella. I can't seem to find this range update though, I've just searched Combat Ace and Wrench's files and came up with diddly squat!
  8. Sounds great, I have SF2 Europe though, so I wont have the Desert terrain does this matter.
  9. Hi, I've just installed SF2 Europe and have everything working on the Typhoon except the gun. Does anyone have the Typhoon's Mauser 27mm data entry for the gun editor please? Cheers
  10. Exactly. The gun will have no such effect on the airframes and they know it, as that rather pathetic excuse was nothing more than a money saving scam.
  11. Thanks for the pointer Brain32. The gun was eventually included due to aircraft weight and balance issues with the flight software. It's been recently tried and tested, so hopefully the insane decision made by our idiot politicians to remove it, will be overturned as a fighter without a gun is as much use as a handbrake on a yacht! The Harrier suffered badly in Afghanistan due to the lack of guns in the CAS role, the Tornado has already been strafing Taliban targets with its 27mm Mauser with great success, proving the point we knew already. From 2011 Typhoon's will be replacing the Tornado GR.4 force in Afghanistan, so a working gun will be a vital asset to allied troops serving on the ground. The politicians excuse for trying to ommit the Typhoon's gun was laughable, "the vibration could cause damage to the airframe". The Tornado GR.1 had two of the very same Mauser guns, and rather strangely there seems to have been little or no detrimental affect to the airframes whatsoever, and these entered service in 1981! This excuse was pathetic at best, and was yet another way to screw our armed forces out of the decent kit they need. Welcome to Britains third world air force folks, and it will only get worse. I can't honestly see how we can continue kidding ourselves that we're a big part on the world stage, when in reality we're only equipped to be an extra.
  12. I was happily flying SFG last night, but when I closed the program down it threw Vista into a tailspin! Every time I opened windows explorer it opened 45 times, same with any notepad documents. I couln't even shut the machine down and had to shut it down with the power button. I've uninstalled and reinstalled SFG into a new folder in my documents where I can now finally get the sim to run, however the moment I click on single mission, I now get a CTD, same goes for instant combat. I've had the sime running fine for some time now, and WoE is working perfectly well, so this is a real mystery. Anyone else seen this problem and can offer some help please? Many thanks in advance Justyn
  13. To be honest that seems to be the only solution I have. I've already backed up the stuff on my HD, now going to have to take the plunge and also waste half a day on returning my PC to a usable state.
  14. I tried ctrl+alt+delete mate, it sent the machine mad! I thought I'd set Vista to create restore dates automatically (as per XP),however when I went into it, I found it had not set any restore dates. It's starting to look like a total rebuild is on the cards.
  15. I've tried playing with the drivers mate, still no joy.
  16. Last night the following updates were automatically installed on my machine. I wonder if something here has caused a problem? Cumulative Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista (KB973346) Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - July 2009 (KB890830) Security Update for Windows Vista (KB961371)
  17. I've just finished flying in WoE, and the same thing happened as last night, the whole system went insane, and I had to hit the power button! I did a virus scan last night and turned up nothing, defragged the disk and registry too. This is all very weard!
  18. RAF Fairford 09

Fairford is one hellava trek from my part of the world, and with the horrendous cost for fuel these days, it's long been pushed out of our price range. We'll be hitting Waddington tomorrow instead!
  19. Flt Lt Kenny Thompson (Pilot) Flt Lt Nige Morton (Navigator) Rest in peace guys. The latest here. http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/DefenceN...ornadoCrash.htm
  20. Does anyone know how to add a CCIP display to the HUD of the Tornado addon please? Cheers
  21. That's great many thanks! I'd seen this and mistakenly thought it was just a repaint, not a total rework. I also found the 1000lb HE's were a little off the mark, but I'll work out how to get the best out of it. The CCIP in the Typhoon and Harrier GR.7 is spot on the money every time, I could take a fly out on a fence post with these!
  22. Hello

    Welcome to the addiction zone!
  23. RN's Sorry State

As I recall, the Oliver Hazzard Perry class wasn't much better either!
  24. There's some great pictures on Airliners.net that were taken in the LFA's, that link was just one of many! North Wales and Cumbria are two very good spots, but you need to be fit and good at hiking to get to a good vantage point!
